Had an awesomely good meal at Romankan Yokohama! I ordered the Tonkichi Homemade Sandwich which I totally enjoyed every single bite of it! It was a lovely, tender, juicy and wonderful piece of chicken. It is placed between 2 pieces of slightly toasted bread and there is a lot of the Tonkatsu sauce. The sauce is incredible! Very sweet and just makes your sandwich super yummy!

Romankan Yokohama serves very good pork curry rice. The pork cutlet is crispy and well fried. Served with the authentic Japanese curry sauce, it tastes awesome with a mouthful of curry, rice and pork in a mouth. It costs $15.50 for a plate of pork curry rice and I feel the food is justifiable for the price.

I was really impressed by their crispiness on my first visit, no trace of oil on the plate at all and meat is still moist inside. Most importantly you won’t taste any trace of frozen meat or million-year’s oil.I chose sirloin this time, it is such a big portion, it could fill me up for 2 meals as I didn’t want to leave any food behind, I finished off the whole set.During Takashimaya revamp their basement, I was worried this store would disappear, lucky me they still exist.
