i really really love macaron alot,this time tried twg lemon bush tea macaron All their macarons are infused with their signature tea,which i find quite interesting,However it tend to break easy than laduree macaron,but twg macaron was very moist and chewy inside, with a thick tasty fillingcompare to laduree,twg macaron was not really sweet,price also much cheaper,not bad to try

Tiers pastry

Fine and quality tea can be found at this restaurant. However if you study their menu closely, you will also be happy to see that they do serve quite many ranges of pastries and cakes here as well. Love to enjoy my afternoon tea with my husband in this restaurant and to share with him on their tiers pastry. The biscuits are fresh and crunchy and glad to know that they are also not too sweet as well. The tea, as expected, is really fragrant and goes well with the pastries and cakes too.

Strawberry Pie

I was attracted by the beautiful presentation of this strawberry pie when I was having a cup of tea in this cafe. Decided to give it a try as it really looks delicious. The slice of it presented to me was really thick and quite big. Thick layer of strawberry mousse and crunchy biscuit make up this beautiful pie. The mousse is thick is slightly towards the sour taste but is really compact. The biscuit is quite crunchy but not really fragrant,which perhaps should use more butter and flavourin

There are generous amount of fresh sliced strawberries topped on it which not only beautify the pie and also add that extra sweetness from the strawberries to this delicious dessert.

the teas here are nice - there's hundreds to choose from! good to try before you buy the whole tin of the tea. love the cutlery and tea set. the pot of tea was generous and the serving cup design was excellent as the tea could quickly cool down. tried the financiers which are very expensive at $9++ for 2 little pieces. not recommended. they were super dry like cardboard and i had to choke it down. luckily there was so much tea there. it's supposed to come with cream and apple jelly but those onl

Nice ambience but the fact it's located in the middle of the mall with shoppers walking pass is a bit of a distraction; though you may like this for people watching.We came here to try out the tea: 1. Silver Moon (T6018) - was recommended by the waiting staff but don't really like it.2. Sweet Fran (T6073) - This is much better with a fruity taste.Had the Guinea Fowl and Smoked Salmon Salad for our meals. Nothing special. My recommendation is come here for the tea and don't have any high expectat

 Had the Guinea Fowl and Smoked Salmon Salad for our meals. Nothing special. My recommendation is come here for the tea and don't have any high expectations for the food. A bit pricy, $11 for a pot of tea; tea in the pot is generous thu and you may want to share a pot for 2.

Nice laid back ambience and good service; this may be a better choice than packing with the usual coffee crowds at Starbucks or Coffe Bean.

My friend gift me macaron.i not very like the taste of macaron because it is a bit weird.It more like the taste of medicine.And the color is also too bright already,made me feel like they add lots of coloring,although i know tht's not.They use flower or tea to add the flavor,but i not really like the taste.For my friend,they like it very much.So it's my problem only.

I picked up some macarons ($2 each) from TWG's booth at Takashimaya Food Hall for tea. While credit has to be given to TWG for giving a spin to the ubiquitous macaron by infusing them with tea, the shells were too soft and sweet for my liking. With the exception of Bain de Rose (pink), which featured beguiling floral notes, the tea flavor in the other macarons was too muted. That being said, I adored the sticky caramel filling in the Napolean tea & Caramel macaron (black) and found Grand Wedding

I found macaron is a very CUTE food.It is small and attractive.So,i decided to have a try on it.From left-Lemon Bush Tea ,Bain de Rose Tea ,Grand Wedding Tea ,Black Tea and Blackcurrant ,Napoleon Tea & Caramel ,Moroccan Mint.The macaron was chewy and quite crisp,but it is quite sweet too for my standard.  The macaron was chewy and quite crisp,but it is quite sweet too for my standard.

 The flavour that i like the most is Napoleon Tea & Caramel.Although it is sweet, but i lke the caramel.It is so nice.
Then is Lemon Bush Tea and Bain de Rose Tea,i can taste the layers of flavor with each bite.The lemon taste is wild enough.The rose taste is also nice.

For me,i also like the Moroccan Mint,the mint taste make me feel lik im chewing "Chewing Gum".
The Black Tea and Blackcurrant is special for me, the black tea taste sweet and it has tea taste.But after awhile,i can feel that got a little bit sour that comes from blackcurrant.


For me,i'm not so like the Grand Wedding Tea.It is a bit sour,and i dont like the taste.

These macarons are cute and special.
It costs $2 each.

But,it's size is very small.Dont cheat by my photos.

When I first saw this, the thing that come into my mind is the colourings. The macaron is so colourful so I bet surely there is some colourings added. I bought this home and eat after one day, so I dont know whether they are still in original texture.

What I can taste is that the texture is not as crispy (I supposed it should be crispy in the outer layer?) And I cant stand the sweetness, too sweet for me. I like the mint flavour (white colour) the most coz it has mint flavour, the dark pink (blackcurrent) is quite sour and sweet at the same time.

One word to describe: TOO SWEET !!

i'm impressed by their service! they actually pull the chair and lay the napkin. on top of that, they maintain a high standard of cleanliness, cleaning every tea pot before serving the tea. they have a vast inventory of tea and staff are also knowledgeable in tea. this place have a classy feel, like a high end restaurant. well.. it actually is. spent $48 dollars there. i highly recommend the scones and apricot tart . worth the price! will be returning soon!

my girlfriend and i have a sweet tooth. we love sweet desserts. the macaroons at TWG are the "in" thing for us. we love the way they make their macaroons. the shells are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. the filling is sweet enough to our liking.

TWG is always very packed and I hardly get to try it even though I had always wanted to. Finally on one weekday, my friends and I finally caught it when it was not that crowded! So we decided to give it a shot! And wow, it was really not bad! Absolutely love their macarons! I wasnt a fan of macarons, but after I tried their famour macarons, I totally fell in love with macarons. I even bought one box home for my grannys. Hope to dine at TWG soon again!

I love TWG macarons. Macarons are already nice on their own but a unique feature of TWG's macarons is that the macarons are infused with the tea from TWG. This brings about a real and strong scent of tea in each and every macaron. Each macaron is sold at $2. Roughly the same price as those sold in Bakerzia. In addition, these macarons are not too sweet. They have reduced sugar and are thus not too sweet as to make you feel overly saturated. In the picture, the macarons are the earl grey tea maca

Had some small bites to fulfill my boring night. Raisin scones with jam and cream. Well, i still preferred those from Starbucks especially heated up ones. These are simple and over priced at $9. I also ordered Earl Grey ice cream to try. Honestly, i didn't like it at all. The taste was bitter followed by a little sweetness. Didn't like the way it tasted aftermath. Don't think i'll visit here ever again!
