I didn’t really know what to expect, actually – I tried to come with tempered expectations in case it didn’t actually live up to the hype – but came away liking it quite a bit. it’s a small space (so be prepared to wait), but gorgeously furnished in kitschy retrovintage furnishings and what I feel is rather old-school american.and the food? pretty good, really. we had two waffles – one plain with butter for the dad and a chocolate-ice-creamed one for mum – both of which came warm, crisp outside

I had this unique dessert at Wimbly Lu The place was hard to find actually hence own transport highly recommended.I had this rootbeer cake with vanilla ice-cream $6The rootbeer cake was alright. Not as fancy as I thought. I did taste the rootbeer but wasn't that strong.The vanilla ice-cream was alright too just another normal ice-cream.Overall with additional of service charge total is $6.60The place was very cozy. Wimbly Lu is a little cafe located at in the heart of Serangoon. It is surprisingly to find such an interesting cafe in neighbourhood that serves really good chocolate desserts. Thanks to my lady boss for the recommendation and brought me over to indulge with the goodness of hidden gems. We went there after work and it was an impromptu decision. Ahhh unfortunately the only disappointment in wimbly lu is this dish, the baked rice. Okay i usually only take photos of savoury, seldom desserts. However Wimbly is a place that is well known for desserts but not the mains. This baked rice I must say was quite horrible. Nevertheless the desserts are so damn good! Simple but awesome desserts can be found here! I ordered a crepe with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was average, nothing much to rave on but the crepe was really fantastic. It was hot and crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The crepe was drenched with chocolate syrup too. Presentation wise was okay but the food really tasted more than normal. Will be back for more!

Wimbly Lu Chocolate Cafe is a nice refreshing cafe that serves chocolate drinks, coffee and wonderful desserts. Mrupupup visited the cafe located in Jalan Riang to have Mayan hot chocolate drink (vey thick chocolate drink with a tinge of spice), chai latte (mix of tea and coffee) and very nice cheesecake plus toffee sauce waffle (inserted the photo). Managed to step into this cafe 15mins b4 they close for the nite. I'm in need of caffeine to keep me awake. The place looks cosy and the dessert looks tempting. The cafe is packed with people even when it's near closing time. we were lucky we managed to get a table without reservations. I most impressed by their great service.
