Dinner with the family at din tai fung. I love having dinner with the family because we can order a lot of dishes to share. My particularly favourite dish is the dumpling with chilli oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. The dumpling was very juicy. They used really fresh meat. The skin is very delicate too. I think the one that enhanced the flavours of the dumpling is the chilli oil and vinegar. It gave the dish a dash of spiciness and sourness.

Din Tai Fung serves one of the best Xiao long Bao i have ever tasted. The skin of the xiao long bao is not too thick yet when you use your chopsticks to clip it, it does not break easily. i hate those xiao long bao that breaks even better you clip it out of the long. the meat they used inside the xiao long bao is really fresh, it adds some sweetness to the xiao long bao. the soup is to die for, it is so tasty, not too oily and somehow contains the essence of the meat. when dip in vinegar, it tas

We started to check out the menu and took down what we wish to eat before handed over to the staff when they called our number. We are bought into the restaurant area (Normally we are seated outside) and it is also nice as we get to walk pass the open glass concept kitchen where the chefs are busy preparing the dim sum for the customers.

The dishes are served very fast as they are preparing it right when we are being direct to our tables and I think their service is good too as they will provide a carrier where you can put in your bags with a cover on it so you do not need to hold on to it while having your meals here. Talk about consideration and beyond the way you serve.

This is given to us when we ordered for the Xiao Long Bao but I think they give too little ginger (I loves to eat ginger together with vinegar when eating Xiao Long Bao)

One of the highly recommended dish from me. I am not a vegetable person but this is one of the best cold dish that I have ever eaten as it is very refreshing taste with each crispy crunchy bite.

This is something like 紅油炒手 but used as a base for noodles. Very refreshing spicy taste (Not for those who do not eat spicy food) but it really open up your taste bud.

The noodles are handmade and mixed together with a strong peanut sauce which enhanced the overall taste but I have eaten a better ones when I am in Din Tai Fung Shanghai branch. The standard over here is not bad too so still can try it if you want.

Another highly recommended dish which I will sure to order when I am eating over at Din Tai Fung. The black vinegar base is very nicely mixed together with the Wantons.

Though I can say their xiao long bao is famous, I think there are some other restaurant selling even better ones than their but still, since we are there, might as well eat it as theirs are not bad either.

Simple dish of egg fried rice which my elder sister will always order for my niece. Rice is normal to me but little on the watery type but best eaten when you add some of the sauce from 紅油炒手 to eat. It will be wonderful with these mixture.

Went to this place at the basement for our dinner . It was quite crowded and had to queue in order to get a seat. We order the famous xiao long bao that come in 10 pcs and noodles soup with dumpling. When we bit into the xiao long bao soup come flowing out with the ingredients be careful when u eat it hot but it is best to eat it hot also. The noodles were springy as well with the dumpling. The soup base was quite flavourful as well. Overall a nice place to eat but too expensive for my budget.

Din Tai Fung is famous for their signature xiao long bao and fried pork belly rice. The restaurant is always having long queue espeacially during lunch and dinner time. But the long queue doesnt stop me from dining here, because it is worth waiting. The xiao long bao is juicy and packed with minced pork, the juice contained inside will flow out if you are not careful. I usually sip out all the juice inside and then only chew on the xiao long bao.

Here at this Chinese restaurant, you can see many chefs diligentlly trying all ways in making different types of dim sums. Has a quick and late dinner with my friend yesterday at Din Tai Fung in Jurong Point, inside the new food courtMenu is simple to read with chef recommendations and pictures of the dishes The jasmine tea is warm and good -you enjoy a free flow of it, of course getting dilute each time they top up water. I wonder why this place always has so many people in queue.I have to admit the soup is really good, but their Xiao long bao and other dim sums really kind of disappoint me.

Most people will go to Din Tai Fung for their Xiao Long Bao (dumplings) because that's what they famous for. The skin of the dumplings is of the right thickness, the meaty fillings are very well-seasoned, and soupy. Yummy! No doubt they make good quality Xiao Long Bao, but my favourites are actually their side dishes. The drunken chicken is absolutely a star! Served cold, this dish is simply appetizing! The wine aroma is not too strong, yet enough to give the chicken a really good flavour. It's

The sour and spicy soup is very nice as well! The right amount of thickness and abit of the sourness.. It taste so good and I don't even know what is it but I just want to drink more of it!The service is pretty good too, the waitress seeing that I hold a bag, told me to place my bag in a basket beside our table. She came to refill our water when we didn't ask for it also. The ambiance is good, sitting beside the window, I can choose to look out or look around at the nice cozy, chinese restaurant

I guess I've been put off by the ridiculously long queues at each of its outlets during meal times. So imagine my glee when I found the crowds wanting at one of its outlet one afternoon.

The place is reminiscent of a typical Chinese restaurant except that this outlet had most of its seating in the open atrium of the shopping mall, which poses a genuine threat of uninvited aerial missiles from the shoppers above.

Tofu - For the price, I honestly didn't expect much. But I certainly wasn't prepared for the onslaught of the minature tofu. I kid you not. The tofu looks small enough to be devoured in just 1 large mouth. Taste wise, it had a high egg content and tasted very normal.

Xiao Long Bao - The dish that Din Tai Fung is known for, its Xiao Long Bao. I can't say that I didn't like it, but it wasn't that much of a mind blowing experience that I had anticipated. The rather dry skin enveloped a mouthful of light broth that flowed out with every nibble. Also, the XLBs didn't carry the strong pork taste which I personally disdain.

Fried Rice with Prawns & Egg - The rice grains were plump and moist, which made for a nice texture. However it lacked the quintessential wok hei and portions were minute to say the least.

I was stuffed at the end of my lunch, but prices here aren't cheap and probably higher then your basic Crystal Jade outlets for the portion sizes. Food quality is decent and service is efficient but rather curt. So much for the legend. But I might just have another go at this place if the crowds are nonexistent.

The ambience is great as the wooden tables and chairs have a china feeling to it and get you in the mood to eat the food served in the restaurant. The waiting time for us is fast due to the time we dined in at the restaurant. We dined in rather early around 5. The waitress was very polite and brought us to our seats very quickly.
