This was a bowl of ramen from the famous raman chain and we expected it to be very good. The standard was indeed a good one but the soup tasted a little salty. The portion was quite little and not enough to fill up a hungry stomach. The ramen served with japanese char siew and a piece of dried seaweed. The texture of ramen was springy and nice. The price is a little on the high side.

Like the concept of many different stores selling different Japanese food items here like ramen, tempura, sashimi & sushi, okonomiyaki, japanese cakes, ice cream and sundaes. My favourite store is the sashimi and sushi counter where without failed every visit i will order the salmon head set at $6.50 which comes with rice and miso soup. There was once the server recommended the hamachi head set at $25 and says it's very fresh and i was convinced so i paid $25 for my fish head instead of the usual $6.50

Dinnered at Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Town with my family! I ordered the Saba Set which was on promotion. It comes with very fragrant rice, miso soup n chawamushi, my favourite! The saba on the other hand, was not too fishy, its skin was nice and crispy. The Chawamushi egg was very smooth. Great dinner!

Went to Manpuku Japanese gourmet with my friend for dinner and I was very excited to have dinner here. After walking around, I decided to order Seafood Oko. It was so tempting when I received the food but after that I was very disappointed having my first bite. It was quite salty and the meat was not really tender. The ambience is not bad and the food is under my expenctation.First time and will be my last time there.

Went to Manpuku Japanese gourmet dining to study with my boyfriend, a pretty good ambience for studying but was a little disappointed with the Jap curry rice that I ordered. Be it curry or whatever food, it should be served hot as it will allow people to think that the food is fresh or is newly made. The 'cold' curry made me disappointed and I think that it is not worth the money, even though it was about $7.50 per plate. The chicken was of very little portion.
To me, ordering curry rice means that the curry plays 90% of the whole food, so if the curry is disappointing, it spoils the whole image.
However, I do believe that the other food, like the Gyoza, is still rather good (:

i happened to be in the area so I decided to head to manpuku for some nice food. I ordered their spicy miso ramen. It blew me away. It was quite spicy but absolutely not as spicy as that one shin tokyo’s. the soup is very tasty and the ramen is really good. smooth and silky. It even glides down your throat!

This Japanese fruit tarts at MANPUKU really looks yummy on the display shelving. Different types of whole fruit tarts are freshly made daily. Tried their mango fruit tart after my dinner. The sliced mangoes used are fresh and sweet, the crust outside is also crunchy and delicious. Inside the fruit tart is filled with lots of fresh cream. Not too bad but if they can reduce the price of it would be good as currently is too expensive for eight dolar per piece. My verdict: 7/10

i was fascinated by this place upon my first visit. It has almost everything under the same roof. I was excited to try the ramen from the famous noodle stand originated from Asahikawa, Hokkaido. I ordered the Tontoro Ramen. The Tontoro was nicely seasoned, tender and soft. I fallen deeply in love with the soup base for ramen, though a little salty but really good. The handmade ramen was good in texture. It was an enjoyable bowl of ramen no doubt and the only pity gotta be the portion was too lit

Ordered a serving of Unagi Sushi to go along with my ramen. It was surprisingly good and i did enjoy eating it.

Decided to order a Caramel Banana tart from the Fruit Paradise and the Macha Parfait from Kyoto Saba. Both were equally good but a little pricey.

Met up with my girlfs for a quick dinner at Manpuku. I had the impression that the $6.50 deals were still on but apparently they up the prices of some dishes. Nevertheless it was still a satisfying meal, other than the fact that the air-con was wayyyyy too cold! We had Shoyu Ramen ($6.50), Fried Noodles with Pork ($6.50), Seafood Oko ($9.00).Food was good but the aircon makes food go cold quickly. Ambience is not bad. Nice quiet place but cold aircon!!

My girlfriend and I love trying okonomiyaki from different places. We chanced upon Manpuku and they serve really large OKOs. We were thrilled and did not hesitate to go in. I love plenty of brown sauce and mayo on my oko. It really brings out the flavour of the ingredients. At Manpuku, the okos are served on a hot plate so it is kept warm for a longer period of time.

I was shopping around tampines with a couple of friends when they suggested we go to manpuku for some delicious Japanese desserts. I ordered a strawberry mont blanc. Sophisticated as the name it sound, the dessert is really a killer. They were very generous with their strawberries, you can find quite a number of slices in and on the cake. It is not too sweet and the cream is really smooth, practically slides down my throat. So delicious, totally brightens up my day!

Today i went to Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Town to have my dinner with my friends. It is located at tampinese 1 at the 3rd level . I ordered a Saba Shioyaki Set, including chawanmushi, rice & miso soup . The food was delicous , the saba fish was very fresh and it was cooked just nice . The miso soup is not so salty and the chawanmushi is very fresh . The meal cost me $10 which was reasonable as i was delighted with the food .

The salmon sashimi was very fresh & yummy, u can feel it from the picture. My fren loves the omu rice too & she top it up with a ume wine to match the atmosphere.

( I went to Manpuku again recently & it's true that the standard seemed to have dropped, cos the salmon sashimi was much smaller & taste more like frozen food now...)

I wanted to have rice, so after walking one round, I went for the fried rice wrapped with egg and topped with curry. The picture at the stall was photographed in such a tempting manner and it looked so delicious. However, when I received the final product, it did not look appetising at all. Having taste the first bite, I am totally disappointed with it. It was TASTELESS and it did not have any other condiments at all. Even the curry did not help as there was no vegetables in the curry...just PLAIN curry.

I will never go back again cos while having the expensive yet plain rice, I had overheard other customers complaining on their food too.

When I ventured into Manpuku, I was high in hopes that the food will be nice. I loved ramen so I went to buy ramen at AOBA. I had the salt version of the soup. How I regretted it because it was so salty and I cannot even taste any flavour from the soup although they said that the soup stock was made with pork bones. All I can taste was the salt. As for the noodles, it was not even fully cooked and it was a bit hard that one mouth full was all it takes to kill my appetite. For more than $10 a bo

For more than $10 a bowl, I was so disappointed as ajisen ramen was so much better.

Although it does charge sevice charge as it was supposed to be a food court style, it do have the 7%GST. Just one try will do, I will think twice before I try Manpuku again.
