I love ramen! I'm such a big fan of ramen! Even instant ramen from Meidiya! They’re usually so tasty and flavourful. The ramen was springy, well cooked and well flavoured but the noodle portion hidden underneath the soup was kinda little! The soup base was slightly on the saltier side. The sides of Fried fish (roe) was crispy and juicy.

Overall, dining experience was nice, but if I calculate the estimation of worth when it comes to queueing etc, It starts to veer towards the “average” so so score.

I've been wanting to try out the ramen from AOBA whenever I walk past it but it is always been so crowded. Finally it is less crowded when I arrived at the restaurant at weird lunch hour (3pm plus). The shop is almost empty except for another 2 tables of customers. I read through the menu and decided to order the spicy miso soup ramen. Since this is my first time trying out AOBA, I didn't have much expectation to the ramen. True enough, the spicy ramen which I ordered is quite oily and the soup

The ramen is quite hard too I thought. Accompanied with Japanese seaweed and tamago egg (which is pretty ok anyway), I think this dish is rather normal.

Walked past here and saw that the restaurant was almost full house so gave this place a try. They have quite a nice set where you can choose a ramen and a side dish and a drink. I have the spicy miso and fried chicken cutlet. I would say the ramen is so-so and I have tasted better soup base. I would say the standard of this is about ajisen's standard. Gyoza was also normal. If you are looking for a casual ramen place I think this place offers an affordable alternative.

It was saturday night, around 6pm and there was really a lot of people inside. Me and my friends have to wait for about 15 mins outside the restaurant before we secured a place. The ice lemon tea has strong sweet and sour taste which is why I like it the most. This is the grilled salmon set. The side dish, tofu is silky smooth and tastes great with the sesame sauce. I like the sauce a lot! The salmon is nicely cooked, not too hard. This is the grilled salmon set. The side dish, tofu is silky smooth and tastes great with the sesame sauce. I like the sauce a lot! The salmon is nicely cooked, not too hard. The salad is fresh and juicy with the special salad sauce which taste sour. The miso soup is rich and not too salty. Overall, it was really a satisfied meal and yet not too expensive

This place sells fantastic ramen and at affordable prices as well! Their half ramen only costs $8 and is able to satisfy your stomach! Their original ramen noodles are springy and delicious and the ramen is salty like how ramen should be. Their egg is cooked to perfection and is something you must add along with your ramen! Ordered some appetizers such ar agedashi tofu and japanese fried chicken. Bothe taste delicious but as a tofu lover i prefer the agedashi tofu.

It is one of the only restaurants in vivo with queues on a Monday evening. Therefore, we decided to join the queue for the freshly ramen. To my horror, I am wondering why the ramen is so salty; it was the saltiest ramen I ever tried. The shoyu chashu ramen, the chashu is just fine. The price is about the same as ajisen. Seriously, the food wasn’t that fantastic too. Yet so many people are queuing up.

Their ramen is quite nice, but its actually quite normal, quite similar to Ajisen ramen, only. It is not as nice as what i initially expected of. The soup base and ramen is slighly better than Ajisen ramen. But their egg is very nice as compare with other ramen restaurants. It is cooked just right, just nice. The texture of the egg is quite good. Overall, it is considered not too bad, but their ramen is more pricey.

My craving for Japanese ramen went beyond control so I decided to try out the first Ramen stall I encountered this past Saturday at Vivocity. I tasted out their only highly recommended dish in their menu. The "Tontoro Ramen" which seems to resemble a pork cheek ramen. I was thinking if their best ramen is unworthy in its taste, then there's no point trying out their other flavours of ramen in the future. Sadly, their Tontoro Ramen was nothing to rave about. The char siew or pork slices they offered was too oily and fatty for my liking. The noodles to be fair tasted pretty average so there was nothing to complain about. The soup however which makes up the most important component or "soul" of the ramen tasted too salty for my liking as I can't taste any essence of their broth whatsoever. This is may taste fine for the undiscerning diner but for regulars who frequent ramen joints like me, this sits in the same league as the sub par Ajisan's ramen.

while soup base was quite clear & they added in some sesames inside,It was a bit salty, compare to ramen champion the standard was still just so so
Their tempura prawn was well fried, but a bit oily, karaage chicken have a mild lemon aroma but too bad it was overdone, very hard to chew,
We also ordered a plate of soft shell crab $7.90,it's a bit expensive compare to other japanese restaurant & there's only 2 small piece of crab, which was quite disappointed as there's not much meat
The serving time was quite fast,it took only about 10mins,which i was quite surprised, for service,we had hard time finding staff to top up our tea as their staff mainly stand outside, near cashier counter area,
Overall i rate 7/10

i went to aoba for some ramen with a friend. I was looking forward to some nice ramen as I was very famished. However, when my bowl of ramen came, I was not very excited. It looked a little like instant noodles. Taste wise, it was quite okay, nothing spectacular. The soup was quite good though, tasty and not too oily.

Saw this new Ramen shop at Vivocity and thus give it a try as it seems to be serving Authentic Hokkaido Ramen. Order their Hokkaido Salad which comprises of scallop + lettuce+tomato+special dressing. My bf tried the Shoyu Ramen and it taste normal too...likewise for the gyoza. When we were paying for our food at the cashier, then we realise this is actually another venture by Ajisen..To my surprise! The ramen from Ajisen taste much nicer !At least I was able to finish the whole bowl of soup from Ajisen Ramen. ...
