Wanted to go to Sin Lai Lai to satisfy my craving for Tom Yam Soup & Basil chicken at Golden Mile at about 11am ,not aware that they only open at 12pm!! I had no choice but to give it a miss and look for a second alternative - Diandin Leluk Thai Restaurant.

The environment looks clean and the crowd there at 11am gave us an indication that they served nice food. We order Basil Chicken, thai prawn cake, otah, stir fried kai lan , tom yam soup (They only had Clear soup).

I was a little dissapointed as the Basil chicken is slight more salty and less spicy ,while the tom yam soup was so much more spicer as compare to Sin Lai Lai.However, the otah & prawn cake is comparable thus it wasnt such a bad meal afterall.

Homemade Ice-cream with a twist! Smile Aug 13, 2010

A sweet toothy like me will never give this a miss...regardless how full i am after a meal.....

They have a wide range of ice-cream flavours that you cannot easily get outside and each of the flavours has a unique and rich taste.

My favourite would be Pulut Hitam, Soursop Sobet,Tiger Beer, Horlick,Double Chocolate...i think i have easily list out all their hot selling items.

Other than the ice-cream, they have a signature "cake" call the Mud Pie!! A very rich dark chocolate ice-cream n orea crust biscuits..Aw!! Nothing can be more delicious as compare! However during my last visit, I tried their new creation- The Nutty Buddy which contains hot fudge, oreo ice cream with a generous portion of nuts...and i thought I still prefer the Mud Pie to the Nutty Buddy!

It was a girl's night out & the group of 4 of us were craving for teppanyaki & shabu shabu! Since we were at ION, we went to Sho-Teppan to satisfy our craving!

2 of us had Shabu-Shabu : Chicken , Beef
2 of us had Teppan Yaki: Black Pig , Salmon

The shabu-shabu pot is sweet but I like it as they are generous with the serving for vegetable ! It has with a raw egg which is a "sauce" to be dip in after you have cook your meat but i didnt like that taste thus I mix it into the soup! Yum Yum!

The black pig shabu shabu is a lil bit too oily for my liking but the service by their crew was good as they actually offer to help us cook the meat! =) Mabbie you could request that they serve you the lean meat instead of the belly meat? & for heavy -meat , you can top up the meat serving for a small amount of $3.90-$5.90? depending on the item you choose!

Visit Sapore Italiano Caffe Bar during one of the World Cup Matches of Germany's game as we are a group of Germany supporter!! Yeah!!! The Bar was so crowded that night and we had to reserve our seats 1 week in advance! Can you imagine if it was an Italy game!!!I cannot imagine the crowd!!

During the screening of the world cup matches , there is a minium spending of $30/pax and we order the following :

Wrapped Spaggetti in white wine + seafood, salami pizza, 1 mussel in wine serve with garlic bread , 2 coffee, 1 tiramisu, 6 scoopy of gelato..1 bucket of beer for only $180!!!

Cheap deal for authentic italian food!

Saw this new Ramen shop at Vivocity and thus give it a try as it seems to be serving Authentic Hokkaido Ramen. Order their Hokkaido Salad which comprises of scallop + lettuce+tomato+special dressing. When I first ate the salad, it taste not too bad but as i tried to finish the bowl of salad, the dressing seems to be abit too sweet and sour for the bowl of salad.

My bf tried the Shoyu Ramen and it taste normal too...likewise for the gyoza. When we were paying for our food at the cashier, then we realise this is actually another venture by Ajisen..To my surprise! The ramen from Ajisen taste much nicer !At least I was able to finish the whole bowl of soup from Ajisen Ramen. ...
