I used to be a fan of BreadTalk and I've tried quite a variety of their cakes, breads and buns, even seasonal ones like the recent Christmas offerings such as the Yule Chocolate Donut, Chocolate Custard Noel, and Santarina. Hotdog with bread is such a old and common combination at most bakeries that I usually give this a skip at any bread shop I go, but at BreadTalk, this cheese with peppery hotdog on a bun was simply a delight! I just love the savoury hotdog with cheese!

 Cinnamon Danish Bars ($1.30)
Firm and somewhat chewy, these are just yummy! They cost $1.30 per piece but you can also buy three at a promotional price of $3.30. There are a few flavours available but my favourites are the original, which has a hint of cinnamon, and the Almond Chocolate, which has crunchy chopped almond bits on it.

While BreadTalk has quite a variety of bread for selection, I feel that their prices tend to be a little on the high side for quite a number of them. There are better bakeries with tastier and lower-priced bread out there but BreadTalk, with its many branches, offer consumers the added benefit of convenience. Despite this, a recent bad experience with a rude staff there have put me off patronizing this branch again in the future, although I'd still consider getting the Cinnamon Danish Bars from other branches if I happen to pass by any the next time.

Breadtalk have been providing value added service to their customers all these years...The Bread and Cake have been excellent with good quality...Their expansion is good and the continuing of their business is providing us a consistent quality that others are also trying in the biz...For about S$1 you can indulge in some freshly baked sugary bread, my Mum never failed to get her favourite Fire Floss or Floss bun, which is still not bad....Worth a try...

I actually brought this bread few months ago during chinese new year period but didn't realise that I have missed out on this. This bread is actually similar to the famous hong kong po luo pao with a slight crisp texture on the top of the bread. As for this bread, it is just topped with the additional slice of the pineapple. The bread itself is soft with a slight crisp on the top. The filling is fill with the creamy custard and goes well with the bread and the pineapple itself. Price at $2.20 ea

Awesome Chocolate Cream Cheese Bun!

Being a fann of cream cheese, I could not resist when I saw the chocolate cream cheese bun. It was topped off generous with cocoa/chocolate bits. The texture of the bun was soft and smelt amazing; the way buns should when made fresh. The cream cheese was smooth, generous and did not taste too sweet. This is coated with sunflower seeds around the bun. And on the inside it is plain and overall this is healthy but sadly inside is white bread. If you find it quite plain, you can use the idea of dipping some yogurt and eat it. If not you can match it with some tea or coffee to go along with. Overall the bread is worth buying and they do have much more variety to choose from.

I went to breadtalk to grab a bun for tea. they had so many choice but I was craving for something sweet so I opted for their sweet raisin bun. The bun was pretty large in size. They sprinkle some sugar and raisins on top. It was not too sweet as well. The bun although very large in size was not too heavy. It was just filling for me. the raisins were very juicy, I hate those buns with those dry raisins. This bun is really good.

It has been quite a while since I bought any breads from Breadtalk since I find some of the breads getting more and more pricy. I happened to pass by and decided to just get one of the breads since it is the most convenient bakery at where I was. I decided on the hot dog bread. I like the hot dog used. It isn't too overly salty which will not leave me thirsty after eating it. The bread as usual is very soft and slightly saltish at the top with the cheese. Overall, it is quite delicious.

Other than that, I loved the way the allowed customers to see throught what they are doing. Thus, customers are more satisfied in the way they handle or bake the bread (: Although there is only one cashier, the cashier was quick to respond to customer thus making the queue to be shorter very quickly.

And we had fun time there.The cake is coated with Chocolate shreddings. not too sweet, just nice for me ,as i don't like sweet stuff. sponge cake was very soft,not much cream for this. Today is a lazy day for me so I decided to just grab some bites from Causeway Point and I happened to walk into Bread Talk and noticed the Garlic toast.

Breadtalk has always been generous with their serving (of course it cost more too) and its the same for the garlic toast. The garlic serving is great and every mouth that I bite, there's garlic taste in it. Its does not have the creamy buttery taste as compared to Pizza Hut's but its the hard and dry kind which I like too.

However, it feels a little too cold and not the hot feel when you buy them like some other bakery does. Maybe I'm just suay to have picked up the leftover, but judging from the picture that I showed, it seems like a fresh top up.

I shall have another go during my other off day. Meanwhile, I hope it will taste better when its hot.
