Their drink can be quite expensive , however they really make delicious home made ice cream that is their plus point. Their croissant with ice cream cream is not really worth your cash however their bread are made fresh and it blends well together with their ice cream. Also, their vanilla ice cream in hot chocolate really lightens your taste buds, with bitter chocolate melting the vanilla icecream combining them both together really serves well. Worth the try

Passby this cafe name Deconti caffee & Gelato wanting to check out this new italian cafe at Tampines 1! They serve mainly coffee and gelato as well as cakes and croissants. This cafe has a limited seating area so i decided to have a takeaway. I ordered croissant large with chocolate filling, napolitan pastiera. I like the croissant as it was soft and crispy outside and the chocolate filling is thick and too sweet where as napolitan it was nice and crispy on the tart.

I love Italian food and I, especially, find their coffees and gelatos irresistible. I went to DeConti, an innovative Italian chain, located in Tampines 1 shopping mall. I was greatly impressed with their Vanilla Gelato with espresso which consisted of scoops of fresh, creamy vanilla ice cream that came along with hot strong brewed espresso. The flavor of the espresso was impeccable and it went along well with the soft vanilla ice cream. Priced at only $6.50, this is one item that I would love to

This little open-concept cafe serves good gourmet coffee in general. They are famous for the flavored coffee, such as pistachio coffee!  You won't get enough of it. On my forth visit, I have decided to go for something simple - milky espresso. It's one shot of espresso topped with milk froth (warm or cold). Love the intense coffee taste, strong but not bitter. Thumbs up for the silky smooth froth too! Pleasant experience.

I always wanted to check out this relatively new italian cafe at Tampines 1! They serve mainly coffee and gelato as well as cakes and croissants. The image of gelato on top of a croissant ($5.70) look so yummy and I knew I had to order that! We chose pistachio flavour which was lacking in taste when eaten together with the croissant. We also ordered a Parma Ham croissant ($6.9) which consist of ham, cheese, tomatoes, rocket leaves and pesto. Overall, this cafe has a pretty limited seating area and I find their food and drink to be of average quality only. Perhaps I should try the other gelato flavours.

DeConti Caffee & Gelato is a newly opened cafe at Tampines 1. On my first visit, I ordered a cup of Italian hot chocolate and was pleasantly surprised to find such thick and rich hot chocolate in the heartland. As I placed the tea spoon into the cup, I can see a fine layer of crust or crystalised chocolate breaking away. This is hot thick the hot chocolate is, and just the way I like my hot chocolate (not too much milk)! Thumbs up and I'm definitely going back to get my hot chocolate fix anytime

My medium size cup of hot chocolate costs $6.50 but I would consider this a good price for the premium quality. The regular size looks far too small to be able to enjoy the taste.

The outlet at Tampines 1 is rather small in size though so come during non-peak hours if you would prefer to dine with less crowd. The outlet also serve coffees, croissants and gelatos. Do also expect that this is pretty much like a self-service outlet (collect your own drinks when they are ready).
