I have always wanted to check out this hawker stall that serves quality ramen at affordable prices! They used to be called Homebaked Dough but recently changed their name to Brothers Ramen. I arrived there during lunch hour and the coffeeshop was packed! However, this stall had no queue and I wondered why. Anyway, they offer a range of ramen like Chashu ramen, Shoyu ramen, etc and even a Dry ramen. I ordered the Shio ramen, which is a Tonkotsu Shio soup base consisting of cha shu, seaweed, sprin

I added an egg for an additional of 50cents, which was so worth it as it turn out to be a flavoured kind of egg, not the normal ones. I love the texture of the noodles, which was very springy and cooked just right! The chashu is soft and the soup is full of flavour! I felt really satisfied after having such a delicious bowl of ramen and it's priced so reasonably!

Char Su Ramen

Japanese ramen at a coffeeshop at tanjong pagar plaza run by two brothers- char shu ramen ($7.50) the ramen soup is rich with miso and pork bones taste and healthy, favourful, not saltish unlike other ramen and super men ($8) a bit of sweet with bian yu , not miso, both ramens not bad with nice marinated soft char shu, i love it with the ramen full of beansprouts, overall this is a healthy ramen with rich soup base and lots of ramen and beansprouts (if you got a saltish taste bud, this may not suit you), for me, i prefer this healthy ramen with so much beansprouts, worth a try. grading: 4.75/5 for its rich soup base, not very japanese but for this price i won't ask for much, very localised ramen i can say. : )

Came to this super hot coffeeshop with my colleagues.
There was quite a long queue when we came.

I ordered the shoyu ramen at $6.
The price is reasonable, but bear in mind that the ingredients are minimal - the shoyu meat i had was small.
The portion of the ramen was not a lot too - but it was decent enough for me.

The good about this ramen is its soup base, which was really rich.
Other than that, I would think this ramen is pretty average.
You need to addd 50cents for the eggs, which i didnt buy.

Generally a decent meal; probably the cheapest ramen around.

Btw, the boss is a friendly chap, so thumbs up to the service.

seldom get to eat ramen and my girlfriend was recommending this place so went down to try. i ordered the normal ramen with egg. the presentation of the ramen was quite normal but the taste was really great. when i first tried the soup, i felt it was just average but when you tasted more, the soup actually gotten tastier. the ramen was also chewy and soft and the egg was especially nice. for such a cheap price, this bowl of ramen definitely worth the recommendation!

I guess for the Office Ladies will find these two young brother cute/handsome. anyway when was my turn to order, neither of them looks happy or smiling. they both looks unhappy or moody.

Spicy Soup Ramen - not very spicy as i have expected, but it taste ok overall, the 卤蛋 was normal not restaurant standard

Spicy Dry Ramen (worth trying!!!, noodles texture is good, and the sauce/gravy managed to blend into the noodles, taste a bit like Bar Chor Mee though)

Food was not bad, but will not travel all the way from My office Depot Road to Tanjong Pagar for it again.
