Kiwi Juice felt freshly squeezed because it was sour in a natural way and there was not presence of syrup. It tasted really real and authentic. This is a classic at Honeymoon Dessert in Hong Kong with the Mango & Pomelo blending together for a complimentary sweet and sour zest, however, the kick wasn't there. Why do I feel like something is missing? The prices aren't very cheap, but still affordable but it could be that the atmosphere in the 313 branch doesn't give the exquisite feel that it does

Very thoughtful staff, she knew that the dessert was shared among us and she provided two spoons for us, without alarming her. Not overly sweet, the chilling refreshing feel was just nice. Soft and smooth beancurd added different taste layer to this multi-dimensional dessert. It was 3.20 for mine. Atmosphere was cozy overall, just that the lightning not bright enough to attract more customers.

coco mango mini mochi with green tea icecream $6.90The texture of the dessert was rich, thick and smooth and had a distinct and fresh taste of mango. The mochi balls were plain but yummy as the mango dessert gave it taste. At first, I was a bit skeptical about choosing the green tea ice-cream over the vanilla ice-cream as the other option but thankfully I did not regret my choice. The combination was surprisingly refreshing and complemented each other well. Worth a try!

I was craving for something sweet, and being obsessed with mango pudding recently, I bought takeaway from honeymoon desserts. The mango pudding was placed in a small little square box, quite small for $3.90. The milk was placed separately in a small container for you to add the amount you wish. the mango pudding itself was rather average, mango bits could be more; pudding was not too watery or rubbery, just fine.

it was a mad hot evening.even walking over from triple one to 313 somerset was good enough reason to grab some dessert. of course, that was the entire plan.so we settled in and ordered a bowl of sweet comfort.this was mango sago with rice balls and vanilla ice cream. instead of the usual pomelo. every bit of yum. i wish we tried the green tea option but it didn't sound like it would be a smart order to mix matcha with mango and cream like this.

Had the taro custard pudding at honeymoon dessert after a weekend shopping. Wanted to try something new other than my usual order so I had this instead cos it look appetizing. A little disappointed with the taste as I was hoping for it to be full of taro flavor but turn out there's only a little taro taste and more of the custard taste instead. It was a little too sweet for my liking too. Will be better if there's more taro taste in this.

At Honeymoon Dessert, anyone can tell you that they're here for the fusion desserts. The best of the East & the West - HK/Cantonese influences with a unique western twist. I decided to try one of their new desserts: Coconut juice w sago in vanilla sauce w green tea ice cream. At $5.50, this is a real good deal. It may sound odd at first - coconut?? green tea?? 'Are you certain about this!' I asked myself before deciding hey, I only have this one life to try all the desserts I want.

The coconut provides a very rich finish to the smooth sago. The grass jelly is chewy and slightly harder in comparison to those chinchow you will find at wet markets. I think they home-make their grass jelly for the desired texture, which is really nice. The green tea ice cream isn't the most fantastic, but it has a distinctive tea aroma which leaves a slight aftertaste. The smooth and rich coconut + vanilla provides an aromatic and flavoursome base for the textured grass jelly -the role of the green tea is subtle but significant as it blends a sophisticated twist into this otherwise uncolorful dessert. It gives the whole dessert an added dimension of flavour as it's no longer just smooth, sweet and rich. There's a slight bitterness that slowly changes to sweetness when you feel the creamy ice cream + vanilla sauce spread on your tongue. It's a divine experience that should be experienced by everyone.

This extraordinary dessert really proves to be a holy matrimony of ingredients that are seemingly strange when put together. I came and tried it for the green tea, but my heart is staying for the dessert as a whole. Delicious dessert, great price and efficient service. I hope they make this dessert a permanent item!

One of the snack that you must try in Honeymoon Dessert, actually I am not sure how many outlets in Singapore they have, but their business is definitely getting better.Durian flavor and Mango flavor which were very fresh and sweet. Durian Mua Chi was really full of fragrance and Mango Mua Chi was quite thick in texture as well. Outstanding combination that I like, Mua Chi was chewy.

I would say the mango taste really sweet and soft. A bite into it was with ease and the sweetness of the mango came immediately right after. Complemented with the grass jelly, I would give this a thumbs up! Good for cooling effects.

If you love almond, this is absolutely for you.
The boiled milk gives a rather long-lasting milky taste in your mouth. If you aren't really a fan of milk, the almond will be there to add on texture and extra nutty taste to the milk!

Next this was what I have.

As an avid durian lover, I must say I am impressed with this dish over the one I had at the other dessert store. The quality of the durian is one thing. The fact that they inculcated ice cream into durian sago was mind-blowing. I just love the combination.

Lastly, they had the promotion last time and if the amount we spent is above a certain amount of money, we are able to get this for free!
This is also one of the best we had because it was served hot. Piping hot. So as you pick a bite with the teaspoon the provide, you can really taste the thick and concentrated mashed taro. Calling all taro lovers now!!

Overall, the services provided was awesome. The waitress wad polite, and the dessert are served fast. Good job!
I will come back again

Not long a hot pipping bowl of Black and White was served to my table. The Black color came from the Black Sesame and the white color is the Almond Tea. It cost only $3.90 for a mixed version. I was surprised that I could take the smell and taste of the Almond Tea. When I mixed both of them together it actually taste good as the black sesame has a nice fragrant and do not have the burnt taste which you sometime gets from other dessert stall. The dessert was like super smooth and milky with no lump. This is one of the best traditional that I have tasted.

It was a pleasant surprise that the vanilla sauce was not simply served in a liquid form but came in the form of frozen vanilla sauce chips that housed delightful chunks of grass jelly and the scoop of green tea ice-cream. Nothing much can be said about the green tea ice-cream - probably of store bought quality but the grass jelly was commendable. The cubes of grass jelly were springy and a tad sweet, just the way I like it.

There is a huge range of desserts, both hot and cold ones for you to choose from, including the standard favourites like Black Glutinous Rice, Sesame Soup and Mango Sago. Most of them include mango, papaya, coconut or durian. My friends and I ordered a Almond Tea (warm), Green Tea Ice-Cream with Mango,Mango Pomelo Sago and the Baked Egg Tart Yam thing (Okay I don't remember the name but that's what it tastes like to me).

The Food
The desserts here are wonderful in terms of the richness and quality of the flavours in them. The Almond Tea looks like a sea of pure white paste, and looks rather plain ... but there's more to it than it meets the eye! For almond lovers (like me!), you will love it a lot. the almond texture and taste is thick and strong. It settles in your mouth and lingers as a sweet aftertaste too.

The Green Tea Ice-Cream with Mango is also another surprise. The green tea ice-cream leaves a deep impression because it has this non-artificial taste about it. The rest of it was... yummy but boring. It was the regular good dessert taste but not spectacular.

The Mango Pomelo Sago was probably kind of an adventurous venture because the mango bits were too sweet whil e the pomelo bits were too sour >_< The mango bits were also qu ite over-ripe. You had to eat the mango bits with the pomelo bits to 'even out' the taste. Otherwise you'll either be overwhelmed by its sweetness or its sourness. I felt that I didn't really like it a lot (but not that I dislike it) because there're too many exciting tastes in one dessert and I like it simpler.

The Baked Egg Tart Yam thing was the best! You should definitely try it. I don't remember what the exact name was, but there is the egg-tart texture and yam bits inside too! It's like a Kinder-Surprise when you dig into it, you never know what the taste will be like until you tried it. Although the portion is quite small, about 3-inch in diameter, it is quite filling because of the yam bits inside.

The Service
Nothing much to comment about, they were all very busy and did not offer personal attention... not that I require any, anyway.

The Ambience
The place is quite noisy, with many families and couples bonding over loud conversations.

The Price
I think it's more suitable for families to bond together at this place, so that they can buy a few desserts and share amongst themselves. It'll be affordable this way

Overall
It's a not-bad desserts place, but I won't be going back unless I'm a working adult with a higher salary because it is quite pricey. Spending per head is around S$6.
