Had my lunch in this Seoul Garden Outlet after my meeting with business partners at HarbourFront Centre. THis restaurant is cosy and not too squeezy. Service was friendly and helpful as well. Had bought their signature ginseng chicken soup. For less than $20, is value for money. THe chicken soup was very tasty and not too oily. The chicken meat was very tender and juicy as well. With the ginseng flavour in it,certainly has enhance the taste and flavour to this dish.

Seoul Garden Hotpot in my opinion is much more better than their buffet spread. It is very affordable with huge portion serving. I had the sliced beef hot pot and it came generously with raw sliced beef, kimchi, mushrooms and cucumber. I opted for the spicy kimchi soup and it is yet another addictive soup base. It tasted very thick and flavorful (full of kimchi sourness and spiciness). The sliced beef is thinly sliced, more like a shabu shabu style. The rice however was a little cold, that's one

We ordered the set that comes with Fried Chicken Wings and Kimchi. The chicken wing is nicely fried with a well marinated skin. The kimchi is pretty normal but nice.

Kimchi Beef Hotpot

This place had recently opened at IMM (Oh ya, I went to IMM but there's no IMM address) My loved one suggested that we have dinner here as is new store, I thought it'd be a good excuse to also see what was happening...haha!!

We didn't try the any appetizers though, I order the Kimchi Beef Hotpot & My loved one order the Miso Premium Seafood

This bowl of beef kimchi soup is served with a bowl of rice and the beef slices are served raw and you can slightly boil it or eat it raw depending on your preference...

Miso soup taste normal nothing special, had Fake abalone...

Just don't be picky about the authenticity of the place, and you'll be fine...

It's great being a student, I handed out my student card and got the beef bibimbap with set upgrade at $2 for 3 starter samplers and this whole meal cost only $10! However, the set upgrade wasn't that worthwhile either. The clam meat seems non-existent while the other two tasted like it had been put in the fridge for days. YUCK!Their beef bibimbap was okay as well, some of the beef pieces got hard because it had been on the pot for too long. Other than that, I would think it was a rather healthy

Their beef bibimbap was okay as well, some of the beef pieces got hard because it had been on the pot for too long. Other than that, I would think it was a rather healthy meal with three kinds of vegetables. The place was slightly cosy too, a good place for students to gather together!

Look at the generous serving of clams. They simply gave a lot of clams in the Hot Pot and they tasted delicious. The Kimchi soup base was equally nice too and both of us loved it. The Hot Pot also contained thick translucent bee hoon, cabbage, cucumber and yummy mushrooms. I love mushrooms!

Here's the deep fried chicken nuggets:

We also love the chicken nuggets. Each bite will cause the juice to ooze out of the chicken nugget and each nugget skin is crunchy while the meat is soft and tender. It's a nice combination altogether.

We had a pleasant dining experience for our dinner. I almost forgot to mention. This restaurant is halal, a great place for our Muslim friends to bring their family out for a nice and yummy meal. I would recommend this place to my friends too. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 as mediocre and 10 as very yummy, I would give the overall dining experience as a rating of 7.

I went back to seoul garden hotpot for dinner again and this time i ate Mandu (Dumplings) Hotpot with Kimchi broth. It came with a bowl of rice and the soup tasted yummy, the spiciness was just right and was not as salty. However, the dumplings were very disappointing. There were four dumplings, all were overcooked and was not as tasty as the broth, the cellophane noodles they gave was little, but cabbage portion was quite a handful. Thus, I do not find my money worth for this dish

Our first visit to try out Korean food at Seoul Garden. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the Korean food served. Generous serving with a reasonable price. Below were what we ordered:

Marinated Beef Hotpot with kimchi soup base ($11.90++)
Clams Hotpot with kimchi soup base ($9.90++)
Deep fried chicken nuggets with sweet sauce ($3.90++ bundling)

The kimchi soup tasted great and the ingredients were plenty in the soup! I personally preferred the clams hotpot! It tasted very sweet! But I thought they could have washed the clams thoroughly to get rid of the sand in them. The marinated beef would be perfect if the meat was more tender. The chicken nuggets was fantastic! We love the taste of it!

Downside - there are no side-dishes being served. You have to top up additional money if you want to try them. *sad*

We will definitely visit it again if we are hungry for some Hotpot! Yums!

It was a delicious bowl of hot ramen on a cold day. The soup broth was well brewed and it made the dish very flavourful. The ramen was long and soft, easy to eat. There were the huge kind of bean sprouts in the soup which gave a crunch while slurping up the noodles. There was also a salted egg inside which made the soup even more tasty!

Though it is slightly more expensive, this plate of clay stove bimbipap is yummy and served hot! The ingredients served are fresh and quite a big amount! Warm rice is served with a runny egg yolk, chicken slices, fresh kimchi, bean sprouts and vegetables. I liked how this plate has a lot of vegetables that comes in two types. The vegetables are fresh and well cooked. The chicken slices are not spicy and suits all while the kimchi is well marinated. Overall quite a big serving and absolutely nice

The best points about this halal restaurant is that they are really well trained in marinating the best meats to cater for their customers. Love their spicy chilli chicken meat which is filled with the fragrant and spicies used in marinating it. After cooked, they are very tender and juicy and you will definitely be craving for more after your first plate. Best to serve the meats with their fragrant plain rice as well.

not at all authentic,

at least staff is friendly and were quick to refill water - however they often messes with customers' order, giving us a clam soup rather than our beef bulgoli..
