I'm not really a morning person so you will hardly see me post much reviews on breakfast. This is one very rare occasion where mum was able to drag me up to go shopping with her at Ikea. She raved about the breakfast and I thought there's no harm trying. I have to stress that we were there around 9.30am so there isn't alot of food left. Mine was the last second set. It's cold but the most edible food on the plate. Wouldn't want to try this the next time I come....will try something else. Their lunch is good though.

Ikea is one of the most cheapest but delicious food i tasted here in Singapore. The Chicken is nice and tasteful. The Meatballs are tasteful also and just a piece it you can be full. The drinks are unlimited, so you can drink all day long. The Bread and Butter is good also and enough for your appetizer. I ordered baked chicken leg for my dinner. Recently, I ate this main dish and found the baked drumstick to be quite nice so I ordered it again. Surprisingly, now the drumstick which is wet and tender is nicer than the previous one which was a bit dry & hard. I believe that the chef has improved the dish and made it more delicious. The salad & the veggie are good too. It can be considered that it is healthy food if you eat without the chicken skin. Please be informed that during the promotion per

besides hotdog, meatball and chicken wing, ikea has plenty of delicious food! I tried the apple pie and it tasted really awesome! The pie base was very crispy and fragrant. you can practically taste the butter. The filling was very good, sweet yet not too sweet. Quite a large portion! They have a secret receipe that people have yet to discover… the mashed potato. Plenty of gravy, with very smooth mashed potato. Very cheap too!

I am an organic food lover. Be Frank I do not really like their tomato sauce, as I found that the taste was a bit sour than others. Without any prejudice, if the sour taste suite you then you will like it very much. Just like my sister' two kids love the tomato sauce. The meatballs are tender & juicy once you bite on it. It worth to eat on as it is a healthy food.

Kids loved Ikea Restaurant' chicken nuggets and fries, both are crispy but not oily, I believe that this plate of snack is healthy than others which contain a lot of oil and quess that they use a special method to bake it. I advise that to visit them during week day and prefer 30 mins earlier before lunch or dinner.

Visited IKEA a few weeks ago with my mum, and we were there early, as they were having a promo of $1 pancakes for members, and we decided to try it out. I must say, it is very worth the offer, as the pancakes were soft and fluffy, and the maple syrup that came with it was absolutely lovely, tasted really great with the warmth of the pancakes. I also had hot tea with them, and it was a pleasant breakfast.

At ikea cafe, I Ordered a Daim Cake for dessert. I love the taste! The chocolate is not too sweet it is not too sweet and there are nuts in between of the cakes and it makes the cake crunchy. Moreover, the cake doesn’t melt that fast and it is still quite hard when you have it after your main course.

The evening started with an Ang Mo Lo Hei at Ikea Tampines. Despite its Swedish origins, Ikea has localized and created delicious Yu Sheng at a really affordable price of S$6.80! But we managed to get it free by chalking up over $90 in total for our Lo hei Feast.

We are determined to make it a good year ahead! Huat Ah!

The real highlight of the evening was a distance away after our hearty dinner. We were off to release 3 sky lanterns (天灯), also known as Kongming Lantern (孔明灯) purchased from Chinatown a few days ago. These lanterns were believed to have been used by military strategist Zhuge Liang as a type of signaling balloon.

Our lanterns were constructed out of flimsy paper & bamboo frame. A solid fuel (similar to those from army) which comes along with the purchase was to be held secured at the bottom of the lantern. When lit, the flame heats the air inside the lantern (which takes a while…), lowering its density and hence pushes the lantern up into the air.

While there was every opportunity for our sky lanterns can catch fire & turn into a burning inferno in the night sky, all 3 sky lanterns successfully ascended to the heavens with all our well-wishes for the new lunar year.

Having meals at Ikea has always been pretty standard (nothing off my expectation) as I will always order the signature swedish meatball and the crispy chicken wings. Personally, I find that the food is kinda value for money, especially if you have Ikea card as the card will entitle you to get 2 free drinks (either soft drinks, coffee or tea). However, I will not recommend one to visit the restaurant during meal times on a weekend (weekdays still ok) as the place will be very crowded and very dif

fish & chip!Their fish and chips is good! Very nicely fried. It is also not fishy at all unlike some others which I have tried. Very appetizing! Their fries are good too! Not too salty. The portion however is too big that we cant finish it, although we really wanted to as it is too good! However, the fish is oily.

The swedish meat balls were tasty, and went well with the sauce. The chicken wings were average, i think is overrated. The mushroom soup was cold, though there were lots of mushrooms in the soup. I think the smoked salmon tasted the best among the 4 dishes, each piece tasted fresh and sweet.

I went to IKEA during the 15 days of Chinese New Year, and I was surprised to see that a Swedish restaurant had taken an interesting step by offering lou hei sets to customers who patronised their food store. They were quite generous with the raw salmon, and the portion for the rest of the condiments were reasonable as well, enough for a family. Genius idea. Anyway, my family ordered a plate of malay rice, which consisted of spicy chicken and vegetables, while i had swedish meatballs and potatoes, and there was meatball pasta too. I think the malay rice is quite appetising, and the chicken used is fresh and cook thoroughly tender. The gravy is quite spicy though, so the vegetables help to lighten the spiciness. As for the meatballs and potatoes, that is my absolute favourite dish, as there's ligonberry jam that comes with it, the potatoes are great, not mushy, and the meatballs are tender and juicy, amazing sauce. The pasta was good too, just that I think the penne could have been cooked more al dente, was a little bit hard.
overall, great dining experience.
