Queued for this as I saw that there was a relatively short queue compared to the other stalls. I ordered this Bento Box Chicken set which cost $5.50. Felt that it was totally not worth the price as the chicken was dry and thin, the rice was also quite dry as they didn't add enough sauce and the cabbage was plain unappealing. Maybe my personal preference for eating softer cabbage but this one was really the crunchy type and I felt that it was raw. The egg was cooked nicely but due to the low amo

The egg was cooked nicely but due to the low amount of sauce given, it was equally dry.

This smooth thick gravy mian xian is much loved by the Taiwanese and also now at Singapore as well. The oyster inside is fresh and juicy and the thick gravy is very tasty with lots of black vineager, parsley, deep fried spring onion, smooth mian xian and black pepper in it. For those who wants to have a lighter meal during lunch or dinner, this is really a good choice which you may want to consider. Long queue is expected outside this stall and mian xian is also usually sold out very soon due

I was walking around bugis when I got really hungry, I decided to try out the fried mushroom as my afternoon snack. They use the black mushroom, their mushroom is rather fat and juicy. the coat it in thick batter and deep fried it. after which they will add chilli powder and plum powder to it. as a whole it is very fragrant and because of the batter, it is crispy and juicy as the same time.

Snacked at Ke Kou Wei! Such a great place for a quick and nice snack. Their mee sua is really smooth! Very flavourful too. Their fried chicken is one of the best! Spicy and nicely fried such that it is not too dry. The chicken is quite juicy too! Great choice for an affordable snack too!

This is fried sweet potatoes from ke kou wei. The sweet potatoes they used are orange type. This type of sweet potato is quite sweet. It comes with sour plum powder. I like the taste of sweet and sour combination which will trigger you to eat more and more. But I felt that quite heaty to have fried sweet potatoes as supper and snacks. A little bit too oily so I suggested not to take it too often. If they can make it to assorted fried sweet potatoes then will be fantastic. With more choices like

i was feeling a little hungry from dinner so I drove to ke kou wei to buy some snacks. I was craving for yan shu ji and could only think of ke kou wei. I love their peppery and chilli spices. It adds flavor to the chicken. The portion of the chicken seems to have dropped. But the taste and the flavor of the chicken still remain. The outside is so crispy while the inside is tender and juicy. it was absolutely delicious, really satisfied my hunger.

Ke kou wei sells delicious Taiwanese street food. I tried their shredded chicken mee sua, it tasted really delicious. I love the thickness of their soup, very starchy very tasty. They are also very generous with the portion of shredded chicken they add. Not forgetting to mention that it is best eaten with vinegar and chilli.
