This lor mee only cost $2.50.. cheap and not bad.. the thick gravy doesnt go watery easily when I am eating it. They are very generous in term of the ingredients. The Fried item in it, is very crispy even though is soaked in the thick gravy for some time. The mee itself is smooth and blend well with the gravy. There always have quite a long queue during lunch time.. This show how popular is their lor mee!

Recently under the same name, they opened a wanton mee stall, just few stalls away. Heard that it is opened by the son of this stall..

The wanton mee is not bad, the noodles is qq, quite different from usual tyype of wanton mee.. the chilli is great, however as the wanton is cooked and left on tray for some time, so it is hard when served.

One of the nice and cheap lor mee with very nice gravy used, ingredients used are a bit for this price but i think it is enough, not much meat, but a lot of fried bits, the gravy is very tasty, can feel that the cook put effort into cooking the gravy with the freshest ingredients, cheap and good, this lor mee is addictive and the cook are fast too, you won't have to wait long in the queue. Highly recommended. Nice, cheap and good.

I had tried this Beo crescent lor mee which i think is awful. The sauce is not thick enough and the i don't know why is the fried food soggy and hard to bite. For sure i would not try this again. If not because my favourite lor mee stall (walking distance away from beo crescent- block 4 at tiong) was closed. I would not come to Beo Crescent for lor mee. The aunty attitude was bad too, i didn't offered her in anyway but she seemed so impolite to me! Huge disappointment!PS: There is a lot of bir

Overall

There have been many news features on this lor mee stall.Usually they do have a steady queue of people buying their food, but so far my experiences have been that the uncle clears the queue rather quickly and so I never had to worry about exceeding my 1hr lunchtimes.Lor Mee, $2For $2, the portion is enough to fill me. Lor Mee, $2

For $2, the portion is enough to fill me. If you have a big appetite, you can always go for the $2.50 or $3 option.

It tastes reasonably good and as you can see, the ingredients are rather generous for just $2. The gravy is nicely prepared and quite well-balanced, not too thick, and I like it that the yellow noodles do not stick together.

I like mine with extra vinegar and extra chilli, but without garlic so that I can indulge in this good meal without having a garlic breath when I return to work.

Visited the stall today for lunch. Reached about 12.30 and there were 2 customers in queue. In front of the stall were the stacks of cleared dishes of the morning crowd hence the popularity of the stall is pretty obvious. There was a photo of the lady boss with Kym Ng. I ordered the $3 portion of Bee Hoon Mee. Noodle serving was huge enough to sustain me for a couple of hours. I ordered the $3 portion of Bee Hoon Mee. Noodle serving was huge enough to sustain me for a couple of hours. The ingredients were slices of fish cake, fried flour bits, lor bak, ngoh hiong and a single strip of fried stuff that looks like fried cuttle fish (the kind that's sold at ngoh hiong xia bing + fried bee hoon stalls).

Gravy tastes just nice and the starch was well done but for $3, I was expecting at least half an egg and some fried fish (would be a bonus).

This is the $2 lor mee that recently featured in a TV programme. The portion of yellow noodle was pretty good for just $2. It came with ingredients like braised meat, ngor hiang, braised egg and some fried items. A handful of bean sprouts was added to the noodle too. The braised sauce is not as thick and as gooey but it tasted fragrant. The braised sauce complemented the noodle and the ingredients well. It tasted even good after added in the chilli and the vinegar.

This is my first time to visit Beo Crescent Food Centre. There was a queue at the stall and after observing for a while I decide to give it a try. Besides the usual ingredients ranging from Ngor Hiang, deep fried wanton, braised meat and braised egg, the stall serves fish nuggets which was unique. The fish nuggets were crispy and nice addition to the lor mee. The lor mee also had a nice thick starchy gravy that went very well with the noodles.

Other than the $2.00 portion, there are the $2.50 and the $3.00 available as well. You have the choice of getting a bigger portion if you want a more substantial meal.

The $2.00 is good for me though. It was served with basic ingredients like ngor hiang, fish cake, braised meat, crispy bites made from flour etc. The taste was further enhanced by the garlic paste and chilli paste.
