My family went to Starz for their lunch buffet after we went to the S.E.A aquarium. I think the buffet spread was so so and the selection was quite limited. The seafood selection had oyster and they had a sashimi spread too. They also had drunken prawn and other cooked local food like laksa. The desserts was also disappointing.But the refill of the dishes was really slow. For the same price, there are better buffets as they lack a main 'attraction' to remember them by. Went to USS for a day of family fun and decided to dine at Starz Restaurant again for buffet dinner! Was here the previous year too and we really enjoyed the vast variety of food so we visited again. However, the second visit was a disappointment as the variety of food types reduced greatly and my favourite dish, the fresh oysters, were out and the cooks refused to refill it. My gf and I decided to have lunch buffet at Starz restaurant after we checked out of the amazing Hard Rock Hotel. The ambiance is quiet and good for a couple dates who want to avoid the large crowds at the restaurants near the casino and Universal Studios. The food choices are quite plentiful, but not a wide spread of choices. As I had a good experience during my previous visit to this restaurant, I decided to have breakfast here again, despite staying at Hotel Michael (instead of Hard Rock Hotel). Tried a few things which I didn't get to try during my previous visit, which include the fish congee and the banana crunch cereal with lychee (first picture). First impression of this restaurant is very 'high-end' design and nicely decorated with a very cosy feel. Great venue for business lunch and romantic place for couples. The range of foods here are not really wide, but the quality of the foods are up to standard. Like there roasted pork and western noodles. The staffs here are also friendly and approachable. Not only is there a huge variety of food, I like the ambience of this restaurant too. Feel really relax having breakfast at this place, reading newspapers and chilling out. Despite the fact that this restaurant serves nothing special (same breakfast spread as most hotel restaurant), I will recommend one to visit this place given the ambience (it is besides the pool) and the prompt service. For coffee lovers, do note that the place serves a variety of coffee (cappucino, latte, etc).

Buffet breakfast costs 33 per pax, which i think is slightly costly. There was quite a good variety, there were english breakfast, chinese beehoon, malay mee rebus and nasi lemak, indian roti prata, pastries, cereal, yogurt etc. I like the english breakfast most, especially the crispy hashbrown and well-cooked sunny side up. No 'quantity', but there's 'quality'! Here at Starz, you will feel very comfortable with their nice restaurant layout and decor. Foods are quite good too! My Verdict: 7.5/10

We had a dinner gathering at Hard rock starz restaurant after our games at sentosa beach.Personally, I quite like the ambience and food over there. The variety of food may seem too little to some of my friends. But it is pretty ok for me, cos usually i go for quality of the food rather than quantity. I will only focus on the few items that i like, for example oyster. The oysters are quite fresh. Think i have ate almost around 10 or more. haha. Really worthwhile for me, right? Anyway, we really l
