This zhi cha stall has been around Yishun for quite a long time. It used to be located in the food court at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Later it became a no fills stand alone restaurant in the shopping centre. Now it is located in the coffeeshop in the industrial area in Yishun. The stall is known for its thai style food and its reasonable prices. Second time trying out new dishes of this restaurant known as taste of Thailand , if not recommend by friends I won't have know of this place due to desert area .We ordered their specialize dishes deep fried fish , tofu soup . The deep fried fish was well fried and was crispy , the meat was fresh as well , the tofu soup come with prawns , peas ,carrots was delicious too

Was recommend by my Bestie this place, thanks to him!! It's noisy if you dine in because it's usually full house on weekends, very popular location for small and big family dinners...by the way, no reservations can be made on weekends...I've tried a variety of the food and yes, they're all tasty!! Fish Maw Soup - Thick , creamy with loads of mushroom, carrot , and fish maw. Boiled Kai Lan with oyster sauce. Honey Chicken - Deep Fried Chicken dices coated with honey sauce. The tomyam soup cost $4 for a small bowl and can be shared amoung 4 friends. For zi char nowadays, how often can you have a whole table full of food and pay less than $10 per pax? Very rare.At Taste of Thailand, everytime I go with my friends, we each only had to fork out $10 and have a very big tummy at the end of the day.This shop has started a few decades ago at the old Sembawang Shopping centre complex and moved to this location after they had closed down a few years ago.
