We were seated outside the restaurant as there weren't any space inside for the eight of us.
My friends' (some salad with cheese) was served without cutlery. When they asked for two sets of cutlery, they were given ONE set of knife and spoon, which is seriously of little use.
In the end they gave up waiting for the waiters to drop by and one of them made the trip to the counter to get the cutlery herself.
Besides, throughout the meal, our glasses of water were never once refilled.
After the meal, one of the waiters asked if he could clear our plates, and after he cleared three plates (there were 8 of us, so there should be at least 7 plates in total since two of us shared a dish), he never once came back again.
Having realised that we were a neglected bunch outside the restaurant, we decided to move into the restaurant, hoping that service in the restaurant premise itself should be better since we're no longer at a "blind spot" where the staff can't see us. One of us ordered a chocolate brownie cheesecake while the rest of us ordered the Viking ice-cream to share.
We were totally wrong about the service being better inside. We waited for a freaking 45 minutes for the desserts to be served! The most puzzling thing is that it took them 45 minutes for the cake to be taken out and served. It's ridiculous. We had two rounds of bread to entertain ourselves and wait for our orders to be served. Judging by the long queue at the bread counter, I reckon the waiting time for other tables is as terrible as ours.
We left the restaurant at around 10.30pm, and when we saw the tables outside where we had previously sat at for our main course... THE SOILED PLATES WERE STILL THERE. It was already at least 3 full hours after we finished our meals!
The dining experience was so bad that I swear I'll never dine at the branch ever again.
