I bought myself a Chewy Brownie ($2.60) which is being packed in a very creative packaging. The brownie tasted good and chewy even though its not being heated up. They also have them in many other flavours and you can even customize the design on top of it. Every single bit of topping, design and customization are painstakingly done by hand which makes it look more like brownie art to me.

P.Osh specialized in their brownies but they also have cakes and cookies too. Find out all the delicious flavours of brownies P.Osh have to offer on their website and do visit their shops too!

Garlic garlic~ OK Jul 31, 2010
Categories : Italian | Pasta | Steaks and Grills

I was worried that Skinny Pizza has spoilt me for all other thin crust pizzas but MFG’s special Garlic Snowing Pizza ($16.90++) shot that theory to hell. Topped with shrimps and pineapples, the crust retained its crispness and I particularly love the baked cloves of garlic and honey-sweetened sauce. The thin flakes of garlic deserved a mention too! Kind of cornflakes, just so much more aromatic. If there’s only one thing I’d go back for, this is it.

Though MFG is supposedly an Italian restaurant, the Red Devil ($19.80++) is as un-Italian as it can get. Pasta with lots of prawns, clams, squids and… beansprouts! I have to say that this is the first time I come across the combination of beansprouts and pasta, and surprisingly they go quite well together. Clearly, this is a dish tweaked to suit the Korean tastebuds. Note that this is an extremely spicy dish, great for chili+seafood lovers!

Marche Restaurant OK Jul 08, 2010

Marche Restaurant was one of the first to pioneer the "pay when you leave" system (or at least to my knowledge. That means you can happily go around ordering food and only cry when you exit the restaurant. But overall it is a pretty nice place, with a great Swiss interior theme going on.

The restaurant itself usually has a long queue because it is a favourite spot for class gatherings and big family meals, due to their long tables. The food is generally good if not a little bit pricey. But then it is not a place that you would visit very often anyway. Most people go there for their signature dish - the rosti! It is pretty much the only thing I order there, although I try out the steaks occasionally.

My favourite chicken rice! OK Jul 06, 2010

Categories : Hainanese | Hawker Centre | Chicken Rice

This is my favorite chicken rice and probably the best I've tasted so far! lol The rice is thick with flavour and the chicken is tender yet with crunchy skin! This is also the chicken rice stall that Anthony Bourdain visited when he was here for No Reservations.

Take note that the queue is super long near lunch time, it can even snake out of the food centre itself! But the wait is well worth it once you taste the yummylicious chicken rice! The chilli is also very nice!
Yummy!

Yummy!

Recently Gelato Roma opens a push cart outlet at Northpoint (in front of Soo Kee Jewellery outlet). The outlet sells Gelato Sticks, which is available in over 10 flavours :
Hazel Nut (Crowd Favourite),
Pistachio (Crowd Favourite),
Dark Chocolate (Crowd Favourite),
Vanilla (Crowd Favourite),
Strawberry (Crowd Favourite),
Mango (Crowd Favourite),
Chocolate,
Lemon,
Green Tea,
Coconut,
Yogurt.
The outlet is quite interesting as it reminds me of the movable ice cream man. The price of a gelato stick is not cheap as it costs $4 a stick. But lucky for me, I found that there is special deal online at Deal.com.sg for its gelato sticks. From the deal, I have bought a voucher for a box of 8 gelato sticks for $18.80. This means each gelato stick costs $2.35, which is much cheaper than its usual price.

The redemption is swift and smooth at the outlet. The staff lists out the available flavours of the gelato sticks (Note that certain flavours are not available). The gelato sticks are then packed into a styrofoam box, before covering with a handle for easy carrying. The Hazel Nut flavoured gelato stick has nutty flavour and does not taste sweet, but more of a natural taste. Overall the gelato sticks have a rather smooth and not too sweet taste.
