[Little House of Dreams]A place where your fairytale dreams come true. Little House of Dreams (LHOD) was managed by two pretty ladies, Audrey Lee and Grace Goh, they surely understands what girls love! The color theme for the whole restaurant was pastel pink, so sweets, girls totally couldn't resist. Collaborating with Ben and Jerry's ice cream within this same pre...

I was very fortunate to be invited to dinner at My Little Spanish Place by OpenRice. It was an exquisite, educational experience for me. This is the only place I know of in Singapore for genuine, fine Spanish cuisine. Our first dish was jamón with cheese and olives. We had finely cut slivers of two kinds of jamón: jamón ibérico (from the special breed of a black, ibérico...

Every time I'm at Marche, I would definitely order their Swiss Rosti, which is consistently good. The grated potatoes are slightly firm and not mushy, and the top layer is always nice and crisp. With a sprinkling of salt , this dish is simple but it never fails smile We also got the Parma Ham Pizza which was quite good too, consisting of parma ham, sliced tomatoes, arugula & c...

I always liked to order curry beef rice with cheese in pepper lunch! the cheese melts immediately when you mix the rice with the beef and cheese. Rice is a little sticky just like japanese rice so it is really chewy! Top with a little honey brown sauce and mix them well then the taste is really good! The curry is not spicy at all so you don't have to worry about the spiciness! Servi...

I'd been wanting to have some good steak, and i read about how W Singapore has steaks that are pretty reasonably priced (: they have a really wide range in fact. from $35 all the way to $100+. not "affordable", as some blogs described it to be. but they do have quite a number in the $40-$50 range, which i suppose is still alright (: we started off on a high note with this c...

The Tiong Bahru enclave welcomes a new quirky tenant which effortlessly blends the new and the old by reviving an abandoned Chinese medical hall and turning it into a Western cafe/bakery. All cakes and cupcakes are baked in-house with prices starting at $3 for the latter and $6 for a slice of cake. The Dispensary, located along Tiong Bahru road catches the eye with its bold ...

If you have craving for BBQ seafood, head down to Chomp Chomp Food Centre. It is filled with stalls offering BBQ seafood and other local delights. Although there are a lot of barbequing, the place is quite ventilated. There are also several handicap-friendly tables all around the food centre. We randomly ordered from Ah Liang BBQ Seafood a medium sized stingray and waite...

Came to newton circus for supper one weekday night with some friends. I was feeling hungry so I decided to get a mee goreng to quell my hunger. I paid 4 dollars for the mee goreng from this stall, which was average at best. It was ok tasting, not spectacular and no special ingredients in it to make it stand out. There were some chunks of potato though. The noodles were really spicy, so I could...

Dan Dan mian is very much quintessentially a Chinese dish popular with many in the mainland. The quality of dan dan mian (noodles) is measured by how springy the noodles are, alongside the minced pork. Here, the noodles were relatively springy, although one may quibble about the length of these noodles. The minced pork itself was a tad too salty for my liking but the bowl of soup was p...

The stall is located at City Plaza food court level 5. Offers wide variety of noodles (yu mian, ban mian, mee hoon kway, etc..) Not only that, they do have many selections of different types of ingredients you want. (normal, abalone clam, prawns, fish etc..) The broth is very tasty and is served with wolfberry leaves which I don't see it in other stalls. Don't forget about the s...

Rice~ Smile
Bought rice with beansprout and potato. Don't belittle this two vegetables just because they are vegetables. When cooked well, they taste good and go well with each other especially when mixed with the potato sauce. The beansprout, luckily is not either under or over cook . If they are, i can say byebye to my whole packet of food. Because when beansprout is either over or under cook , th...

Inflation is real! The Yong Tau Foo from Meng Kee is no longer $0.40 per piece. It is now $0.50. sad Nevertheless, I don't mind paying slightly more for the Yong Tau Foo from Meng Kee as it is delicious. This stall serves a huge variety of Yong Tau Foo and I think many of which are made by the stall owner himself. Personally, I love the fried ball (I don't what it ...
