My friends and I were walking at Westmall and came across this small shop on the first floor. Decided to go in and try it out. The shop is quite small but when we went in it was around 5pm so it was not crowded....thank god! There are menus for Rice and Noodle. My friend's cousin ordered the beef udon soup, it was quite good according to her. I tried the soup and she was right, the s...

Came here several Fridays ago, and tried the Fish & Mushroom Calzone from the Italian stall, and it is very good, a rather large portion, so it would be ideal to share with your friends. It is a inside pizza sort of food, where it looks like a giant curry puff, with all the fillings on the inside. The filling was great, as the fish was yummy, and the mushrooms had a really nice bite to i...
The food is nice and authentic thai food. Not so spicy suitable for Singaporean. However the place itself is a bit sneezy hence it is not recommended to bring kids along. We ate 7 dishes and we were very full, the serving is big enough for 5-6 person. The prawn omelette is very fragrance taste better then the normal chi char. Tom yum soup is also very tasty, not spicy and a very gen...

Those who love CHOCOLATE really should have a try. It is finger licking good ! (: There are some fruits, cookies, cakes, and ice cream balls . In the middle is a small bowl of chocolate syrup. Well, dip the food around in the chocolate syrup will make you feel like on the world! (Y) it is really not bad! HAVE a TRY (:
Went to AMKhub MOS Burger that day instead of our usual fastfood place like MAC. The place is considered small and food are slightly higher price compared to MAC and KFC. I'm not a fan of big sized fries , their burger is ok. Recommended food to eat here is their drumstick which is huge and tasty , and their ice peach tea. I seldom dine here as I find overall is average on...

After passing by this place a few time and finally went to Meathaven Restaurant & Bar on Friday night - around 730pm. In any case, my partner had the kurobuta pork belly & the mushroom soup and i had half slab of the baby back ribs with baked potato and some greens plus a jug of Asahi Premium.I like the way my ribs has the smokey aroma and you can feel that the meat was REAL s...
My friend recommended me to this newly opened restaurant at Causeway Point. The restaurant is quite packed & the queue is quite long during a weekday. We ordered the signature fish & chips set for each which it comes with a bowl of "soup of the day"(mushroom soup) & a glass of soft drinks (ice lemon tea). Wow~ it looks so yummy when it is being served. Firstly, I trie...

have decided to give Breeks a second chance when I had a group gathering with my friends at Breeks. Avoiding fish, I have decided to go for grilled chicken on hotplate this time. At least the food was served hot as it was on a hotplate and the chicken was juicy and big. The serving potion was also rather big, with potato wedges.
Taste I like to eat their beef noodles. I love their dry beef noodles sauce. The beef is not cooked too long till it is too hard to chew, it is cooked just nice.
beef was tender and mushrooms crunchy and chewy! a delight to have with the sweet terriyaki sauce! however, as you can tell from the picture, beef was a little too bloody for my liking. i do enjoy my beef slightly medium done in steaks, but for a dish that is supposed to be barbecued, the beef was too raw for me to accept.
When I think of ayam penyet, I expect blazing hot, smashed, crispy fried chicken. But realised something even tastier than ‘flat chicken’ – how about ‘flat beef’? (: Jurong East do offer some unique food (thankfully) and I highly recommend the Empal (beef) Penyet if you are craving for spicy food (not those laksa kind but more of malay/Indonesian kind!). This dark c...

If you happened to be at IMM and happened to pass by a restaurant in the centre call "Streets Cafe"... I will suggest you to make an illegal U-turn and run for your life... I had never been to such a restaurant who don't even have the most basic customer service. When you are paying a 10% service charge, you will expect the staff are at least train in their customer service skills...

As there were 3 of us, we decided to add another dish for lunch and i decided to go with a favourite which i "hoped" will not go wrong - Bak Chor Mee ($3.50). There was no queue and there was a take-away fee of 20 cents as it uses plastic containers. I was surprise with the bak chor mee as although it was packet, the noodles was not very soggy or too dry. What was a little on ...

Breakfast doesn’t have to be fanciful or expensive. Upper Crust did a decent Full Breakfast with well-dressed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, scrambled eggs sprinkled with black pepper, warm buttered toast, sausage and juicy tomatoes. All this was accompanied by a nice cup of cappuccino at the price of 7.80 SGD.
