I was there with wife and friends for lunch. decided to try western/european cuisine and we happen to remember Azucar from friends recommendation. i was told that most of their food are made from scratch, they dont use processed food stuff. So definitely must try because you cant really find this type of food in singapore anymore. Its easily spotted from far as the decor of the place stand...

Disappointing Cry  
Swensen's  (Sengkang)
It had been quite a while since i patronized Swensen's. I can still vividly remembered that not just they served good ice creams , they also served good food. However, my recent visit to Swensen's proved me wrong. Deep Fried Shitake Mushrooms - I guess the mushroom were over fried. It was quite dry and cant really taste the mushroom flavour. A Han Bakes  (Serangoon)
A Han Bakes is a hidden gem in Serangoon Garden Circus area. It is located elusively at 2nd floor of the shophouses, behind a tuition center. I was there at there's Soft Launch, where they were giving out free cupcakes to let people try out the cakes. Really love the cakes, especially their Lychee Rose Cupcakes! It is a rose flavored cupcake with lychee cream cheese frosting...
