Din Tai Fung has a wide variety of chinese style dishes besides the regular xiao long baos they are so well known for. I ordered some pork chops to share with my family members when we dined here for dinner. The pork chops were a appetising brown colour and were pretty delicious. They were fried to perfection and mantained a juicy interior. They were porky in taste without being overwhelmingly meaty. The fried wontons are equally good with greaseless skins and of course the dumplings are full of delicious stock as always.

The mud pie at island creamery is what makes me keep going back for ice cream. The mudpie is really unique having tons of different flavours and textures. It starts with a chocolate base which is crisp and crunchy and next up is smooth and tasty burnt caramel ice cream with a distinctive bitter taste. On top of that is cookies and cream ice cream and finally the most rich and decadent reverso ice cream with oreo chunks to top it all off!

Came to chillis on their burger promotions day where all burgers went for $8.80. The burgers are seriously good. They are characterised by thick juicy beef patties and are very succulent and flavourful. Each patty was cooked to perfection maintaining a pinkish interior and lots of juice. The accompanying bun was buttery and toasted such that it was very flavourful and complemented the burger patty well.

Everything with fries is known for theri varied fries offerings. The fries come in different flavours including interesting ones such as sour cream and onion and garlic and herbs. There is a choice of thick or thin cut fries but i much prefer the thin ones which hold much more flavour. All dishes come with fries so you dont have to order them seperately. Prices are pretty affordable and mains are available at less than 10 dollars

Despite going to lucky plaza many times, I always avoided trying jollibee even though i love fried chicken. This was cause the outlet always had snaking long queues! One day though I had to give it a try. Luckily for me, the chicken was delicious! The skin was crisp and super crunchy and tasty while the meat was so moist and delicious. the brown sauce is also great for pouring over your rice!
