BBQ chicken set OK Sep 26, 2013
Categories : Malay | Food Court

Pondok Jawa - The indonesian food at Wisma Atria Food Republic.
It's at 4th floor of Wisma Atria. Not too crowded at lunch time and convenient to dine in.
I ordered BBQ chicken set for packet, costs at $6.00.
It came with chicken drumstick, vege and a slice of omelette egg. Can choose curry or sweet sauce to add. Taste is quite okay and chicken is well balanced with the sauce. I may come back to try their signature one Ayam Penyet Set next time.

The plum fries Smile Sep 19, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese

Shihlin snacks has always been known for their fried chicken.
Today i decided to try the plum fries instead.
It cost me $2.80 for a packet. I like it the fact its fried on the spot. Taste wise, it actually feels more like potato fries to me. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Not the most healthy snack around but certainly fix the craving for snacks smile.
Will try the tempura next time. Over here, you place your order at teh counter, then wait for your order to be called.

Bony Roasted Duck Cry Sep 13, 2013

Roasted duck/ pork set at $3, sound great! lol
Nice to see such a stall around orchard area.
It was same stall with Mix vege. Not too long queue.
May be this Lucky food center's hidden in lucky plaza's basement and most are going to asia food mall at the other side. I bought roasted duck with rice in packet.
They added a lot of duck meat inside but was many bones too sad
Price is reasonable but I don't want to recommend duck/ chicken rice.

Nasi Padang  OK Sep 10, 2013
Categories : Indian | Malay | Restaurant | Rice

After looking through the menu, I decided to try their nasi padang set with mutton.
Can choose beef or mutton, costs $6. Came with one vege and cracker.
I seldom eat mutton meat as mostly are hard and smelly.
This time, it's cooked well and not too hard, not too oily, well balanced with the curry paste.
But overall taste is just average. I expected more the quality and taste of the dishes being served here as compared with their pricing.

Birthday cake Smile Sep 09, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Bakery | High Tea

I ordered the mixed fruit birthday cake for my friends last week.
Just need to order one day in advanced. I asked other shop before. I've got unfriendly reply and seems all busy. But when I went and ask at Sun Moulin, the staffs are friendly and helpful.
Ordered the mixed fruit cake, costs $36 for sized 21.5 cm. It's good enough for 8 people.
It included mango, kiwi, strawberry, etc. Really delicious and we love the fruit cut inside cake too.
Much fun we had and satisfied with their service.
