Okay Chicken Rice Stall OK Oct 17, 2012
Categories : Hawker Centre | Chicken Rice

Notice that this stall at Golden Shoe Food Centre has a long Q during lunch time. So I decided to give it a try.
Order the roasted meat rice.
At the stall you can notice that chicken look nice but want to try the roasted meat first. Maybe will come back for the chicken rice.
Now back to the roasted meat, the meat taste juicy and tender and the skin of the roasted meat is cripy.
Like it so much.
But the bad point is their rice. Cook of the rice is soft and sticky. Not really the chicken rice you get from other stall.
Overall the service is good as they will apolgise to you for the waiting time.
smile shocked sad

At City Square Mall for some shopping in the evening, went up to the top floor food court and it in renovation. Will open in Oct. Then went to the basement food court and it also under renovation.
Then came across this stall. EAT. Selling handmake fishball noodles.
Decided to order their handmkae dumlping kueh teow soup.
Cost $5.30 for the big bowl with extra dumlping.
Like the soup base. Not too much MSG added in.
Order was fast. Within 10min your food is ready.
Don't know how the other outlet is like.
Same taste ? Same protion ? shocked shocked shocked

Touch down to changi airport on a friday night. decided to taste some homecook curry chicken.
Saw that they have a promotion on some of their Signature Food.
Decided to try their Asian Delight - Curry Chicken.
At $6.30, it come with a drink. Barley drink. You are not able to change to coffee or tea even you want to top up the amount. This is what the staffs say.
Waiting time for my meal. 15 minutes.

First taste of the curry, okay, not too much of the coconutmilk added and not really spicy.
Chicken was a okay sign for me.
But for the potatos, it really feel like it was cook complete. Hard on the inside centre part. mad
A dissappointed meal just back to singapore.
Hope they can improve somemore.

Concentre Wanton Mee OK Sep 25, 2012

bowl chopstick
Today lunch at Comcentre. Heard that you need to be early if you want to try this stall selling wantoon noodle.
This stall only sell wanton noodle but they have a few range of wanton noodle to choose from. They have some newspaper review about this stall selling wanton noodle.
$2.50 for a plate of dried wanton noodle. Good pricing.
As you will see that thedy don't add in the chilli as you can choose how much chilli you want.
The plate of noodle does not look much.
The noodle is thinner then other wanton mee you get outside.
They also using less oil in their noodle.
Char Siew just a few pieces.
And wanton in the soup. 3 pieces of wanton inside.
This is what you get for $2.50.
tongue tongue tongue

My first visit to this place for a morning Dim Sum and early lunch.
Place was not very crowded.
Seated to the table within 10 minute.
Got a nice seating area facing Sentosa.
Order a few of their Tim Sum and a bowl of Bull Frog Legs Porridge.
Meal came around 15 minute.
Expected to see some big bull frog legs in my porridge as stated in their menu.
But to my dissappointment, saw 2 or 3 frog legs inside.
And the meat is not a fat with meat.
The porridge they cook is not the silky kind of porridge.
Overall spending with Tim Sum is less then $100.
sad smile
