The pho servings are big. Plenty of pho and flavour though I think there's definitely MSG in it.

This is a good substitute for the Pho shop that closed down near Toy R Us.

My sis ordered the dry version of the pho and it's a very refreshing taste indeed. My sis loved it and this was a huge serving too!

We also ordered this Vietnamese pancake-thingie to share and apparently, there's no egg in it. Chef explained that he used a little turmeric powder to achieve the yellowish batter that looked like omelette! Very crispy and yummy indeed. Chef insisted that it's easy to make and went on to tell me the recipe. I'm not iron chef so many pearls of wisdom lost on me! Boohoo...

I won't mind going there when my Viet stomach rumbles again.

Stumbled into this ramen stall while shopping at OG, I was confused by the many many types of ramen in the menu. So I asked and this is what they explained to me. There are only two soup types, black garlic (non-spicy) and red oil (spicy). Then you can choose if you want 1 or 5 slices of pork. Then the choices are if you want normal green onions (Ramen), or with shredded green white onions (Negi Ramen), or with Vege and corn (Hachi Fuku Maru Ramen). They are fried cutlet version and other rice options but the main focus are ramen.

Another plus point is that their char-shui is really tender and flavourful too! In my opinion, better than Baikohken in Taka.

I love their soft eggs too. They serve theirs chilled and in a small saucer, very cute indeed.

We won't travel there specially for their ramen but if in the area, we'll be there!

Famished after a zoo trip but refused to pay top bucks for local food, thus we hunted this prata place that about 10 mins drive away. Lucky it's air conditioned so we immediately liked the place already. 

We ordered an assortment of food and drinks as we were all thirsty and hungry. The pratas were generally good and the rice dishes were ok too. Generally not the best Prata cafe in Singapore but I don't have much complains. Definitely a place to return to after another zoo trip!

Quick lunch here with the kids and we had:
1) Baked Pasta - pretty big serving of penne pasta. I find the tomato sauce very nice actually and they are also generous with the cheese over the top. 

2) Fish & Chips - kids had that. They liked that enough to finish all on their plates. Crispy and fish is also nicely seasoned. 

3) Chicken Chop with pasta - pasta is al dente and reckon it's the same tomato sauce. The pasta is not very flavourful as the sauce just coats the pasta. The chicken chop is well grilled and I like the brown sauce that coats it. Overall a nice dish. 

4) Pizza - dough is actually quite good and fight with other no name pizza places. 

All in all a good place to get quality Italian fare at foodcourt prices. I like!

Had a lovely brunch out here with friends and kids. 

I had a bangers & mash and it was good! Hub had a pasta with Broccoli and prawn. That was good too! The kids enjoyed their kids meal too with the mini juice pack! Too cute!

Best part is the kids can run outside the cafe and you can watch them play outside while enjoying adult conversations inside with aircon. 2 thumbs up for good food and location.
