Hotcakes! Smile Nov 03, 2011

Categories : American | Fast Food | Ice Cream and Gelato | Burgers and Sandwiches | Kids-Friendly

For breakfast today morning, my classmate and I went to Macs at Clementi Mall before heading to school.
I bought the hotcakes meal after a very very long time!!!!!!

It came with a hashbrown which was a tad bit too oily but still tasty nonetheless.
I added lots of butter and hotcake syrup on it.
It was fluffy, warm and very chewy!

However, I got a little jelat after a while like how I normally tend to probably due to the over-sweetness.
Next time, I'll share this with a friend instead smile

Beaver's Bar & Grill Smile Nov 01, 2011

Categories : American | Bars/Lounges

Met up with my friends for drinks and dinner and we decided to give Beaver's a try.
The place was completely packed inside so we had to sit outside instead.
The ambience from what I saw inside was really nice and the people there were really friendly.
However, I didn't like being seated outside as there were too many smokers around.
We ordered several dishes, of which I'll only review two.

The Mozarella Cheese Sticks were really really good!
Very chewy and the cheese is just heavenly.
The dip provided went really well with the Cheese Sticks.

We also ordered the Deep Fried Button Mushrooms.
This was only average.
Yes, it was fried really well and was extremely crispy.
However, the mushrooms did taste a little rubbery though!
The sauce provided also went well with this.

The food and drinks, overall, were above average.
Definitely a great place to go to chill.
Do go earlier to get seats indoors if you prefer that.
There's a pool table as well as televisions smile

Will consider going back to this place again to try out their other dishes! ;)

The Best Fish & Chips in Town! Smile Nov 01, 2011

Categories : Restaurant | Seafood | Kids-Friendly

After a classmate brought me to Fish & Co for the first time, I've been hooked to it!
After out study sessions every weekend, she and I will go to Fish & Co for dinner and as always, order their Fish & Chips.

They have a variety of Fish & Chips too such as those with cheese stuffing among many others.
On this occasion, I got the Best Fish & Chips in Town and honestly, it probably is the best in town!

It is served in a huge bowl-like plate with 2 big servings of fish and thick, crisp fries fried to a perfect golden-brown.
The fish as well is fried very well. It's very crispy on the outside yet soft, chewy and tender on the inside.

Definitely very filling and can be shared among 2 people!
It can be a struggle trying to finish everything on your own as the portion is rather huge and generous.

Worth every single cent, from the generous portion to the great ambience to good service! smile

While at Tampines Mall recently, my cousins and I dropped by Pizza Hut for a quick meal in the midst of shopping.

I've always been a huge fan of garlic bread so I ordered that along with their mushroom soup.
The mushroom soup was thick but not too thick and really creamy too. It had chunks of mushroom in it.
I then added lots of pepper to it as I love peppery food and this brought out the flavours of the soup even further.
The garlic bread was very warm and crispy when served and it was evident that the garlic spread was generous as it was oozing out!
It was just absolutely heavenly biting into the garlic bread!

I then tried dipping the garlic bread into the soup to see if it would make a good combi and it sure did!!
The creamy, peppery mushroom soup complements the garlicy taste very well!
Definitely a great combi!!

I left Pizza Hut satisified and with a huge smile on my face lol lol lol

Corn Muffin Smile Nov 01, 2011
Categories : American

Anyone who has ever been to Kenny Rogers would know that you'll be served a corn muffin each.
The thought of a corn muffin to most would be regarded as gross or something along that lines and you probably wouldn't want to try it!
Well, that's how I felt the very first time I went to Kenny Rogers.

But trust me, their corn muffins ARE REALLY GOOD!!
There was a period of time where I used to be so obsessed with them that I would buy half a dozen home every few days lol

Anyway, the corn muffins are served warm.
When you take the first bite, you'll realise that the top part of the muffin is hard but crunchy whereas the inside is soft, fluffy and crumbly.
It can be a little messy to eat at times as the muffin will start falling out due to it's crumbly texture inside.
But it's all worth it!

It's difficult to stop at just one ;)
Definitely a muffin you wouldn't get sick of easily.
