I love their lotus seed dessert as they are generous with their servings and the lotus seeds are nicely prepared, soft and great to chew on. The soup is not too sweet and not too sticky, thus you will not get sick of it. This is best taken when it is served warm.

Laksa OK Dec 27, 2011

laksa

laksa

The gravy was rather rich but it is not too spicy so it will be suitable for those who do not take very spicy stuff. Their laksa come in 2 prices,$ 2.50 and $3, the serving given is quite generous and could fill one stomach. They uses fresh coconut milk so the gravy is more fragrant. The noodle is cooked just nice too.

The noodles did not turn soggy even when you order takeaway, the noodles remain springy and still have its moisture rather than turning dry. I find pontian noodles to be unique because of the texture and taste of the noodles. I especially loved their noodles and I will definitely add black sauce and chili to my noodles. Also, there is both fried wonton and boiled wonton which allow one to try the wonton cooked in different methods.

Waffle delights Smile Dec 27, 2011

The waffle was soft and fluffy. Also, it has a rich pandan taste which make the waffle even more fragrant. I would always buy the plain waffle and sometime spread it with jam or even ice cream on my own at home. Nonetheless, the waffle taste nice even if you do not spread it with stuffs. It would be better if the exterior crust is more crispy. This definitely make a great choice if you are craving for some snack. However, I find it slightly expensive as a plain waffle now cost $1.30 compared to previous which cost only like about $1.

Cheesy baked rice OK Dec 27, 2011

Dory baked rice

Dory baked rice

The service is quite great as the food was served rather quickly. The baked rice is average, I got sick of it after eating three quarters of it, most probably due to the cheese. The rice given is quite a lot but there are only a few dory fish that come with the rice. The tomato sauce does not really complement well with the fish too. Overall, the baked rice wasn't that bad but only average.
