I was watching a movie at GV Yishun and decided to have Wendy's for dinner before the movie.

Ordered the Shrimp Burger meal. The shrimp patty in between the soft buns was succulent and fries were delicious as well. For just $1, you can upgrade your drink to a milkshake! How great is that! I love the M&M's milkshake!! The sweetness goes straight to my heart!

Almost every table ordered a baked potato so I knew I had to try one. I had the chilli flavour baked potato. The baked potato was not as spicy as it sounds and had a hint of Indian flavour in it. It was topped with onions and peanuts to give this snack some bite. It sure is a unique baked potato to my liking!

I went to Pepper Lunch to try their 5th Anniversary Premium Beef Special. Ordered the US Premium Cut Steak Set ($16.80) that comes with a bowl of rice, drink, and salad/soup/ice-cream.

There's nothing that I don't like about the steak set. From the creamy corn pieces, mashed potato, fried egg to the beef slices, I find every item delicious in its own way. Mixed all of them together, adding garlic soya sauce if desired, and eat with rice, is a good dinner alternative.

The two side dishes I'd chosen were the Kuromitsu ice-cream and iced coffee. I love the smooth texture of the ice-cream, though the taste of it is a little off the sweetness meter, where lots of caramel sauce is added. But I still enjoyed in anyway, with crushed fine nuts adding that magical touch!

I purchased an offer held by the mall to exchange for set meals at $10. I chose Geláre because of its quiet and relaxed environment. After my visit, I realised the food tasted quite good as well.

Cranberry drink: The sweetness wasn't too overwhelming and left me wanting more of the drink. It suits well with the Black Pepper Chicken Spaghetti.

Black Pepper Chicken Spaghetti: Bite-sized chicken slices and the combination of onions and chills make this an appetising dish. As the sauce was of a soupy nature, this dish seemed to be more of a Chinese dish rather than a Western one.

Waffle with cream: Though the waffle looked plain, it was light and fluffy and tasted plesantly sweet with the cream. A simple dessert to end off a satisfying meal!

Besides selling chicken/roast meat rice, this stall offers a few other food items. You can choose to add more variety to your chicken/roast meat rice, or order either fragrant rice (the rice that comes with chicken rice) or white rice to go with these dishes. Best of all, there’s the signature chicken rice dark sauce and chilli sauce to go with anything that you order! And of course, prices are very affordable!

Appetising food on display! There are huge drumsticks, curry vegetables and meat for the picking. I ordered white rice with accompanying dishes such as sweet cabbage, tau kwa and crispy hash brown. It is very affordable, costing only $1.80. I was lucky to eat the food when it’s hot as I ordered when the food were just cooked. They also offer a variety of snacks such as roti john (theirs is a smaller version of hot dog bun coated with egg on the inside), curry puffs and other fried items.
