Delicious Wanton Mee Smile Dec 20, 2012

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

$2.50 for a wonderful plate of Wanton Noodles!
Personally, I dislike most of the Wanton Noodles in Singapore, except for Pontian Wanton Noodles and some other nice ones, because I do not like dry noodles with chilly or tomato sauces.

I prefer dark sauce Wanton Noodles, like Ping Xiang's!! lol

Rated: 8.5/10

The portion is enough for a person.
Noodle is spingy, texture is great
Sauce is quite thick, and not salty.
Vege (chai sim) is just nicely cooked, and it tasted very fresh as well smile
Char siew is also great and yummy!

Definitely worth your $2.50!!!

I will normally eat there on Sunday mornings for breakfast,
YOU HAVE TO BE EARLY. The noodles normally finished by 11.00am!!
Service is great, the aunty is very nice and friendly! Environment is quite okay.
WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK TO EAT MORE OFTEN!!

Tom Yam Ban Mian Smile Apr 29, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Food Court | Noodles

The Tom Yam Ban Mian I ate for dinner today at Nex was really great,
as the soup was spicy and hot,
awesome feeling when eaten with the extremely QQ (chewy) ban mian.

The ban mian was served with cai xin, egg, fried anchovies, onion and garlic.
The egg was not too raw or too cook, just nice. Love the texture of the egg when eaten with the ban mian.

The price of the ban mian was not too expensive, reasonable for food court.
The tom yam ban mian was about $5+.
Service was not bad, the workers were quick.

Udon with Beef in Tomato Soup Smile Apr 28, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

It was the best udon I had ever ate!
The freshness and sweetness of the tomato soup made me love this dish like crazy!
The soup complemented very well with the udon which was extremely spingy and chewy.
The beef was just so-so.

The price of this dish was $11.50, excluding tax and service charges.
It was slightly expensive but you will find it worth the price after eating that!!

I ate this dish 2 weeks ago, and I am now craving for it again!
Service was a little slow, but good food worth the wait!! smile

Yummyyy Smile Jan 30, 2013

Yesterday, a friend of mine gave us some CHEWY JUNIOR treat!!
I was soooooooooooooooo happy because I love the donuts/creampuffs from Chewy Junior!!
They cost about $1.60 each, so
Check out the colourful donuts I've got!!

Left to right, up to down:
Coffee Muesli Crunch
Chocolate Madness
Chocolate Almond Crunch
Cream Cheese Caramel Milk
Strawberry Cheese
Lemon Pie Crunch
Butter Scotch Crunch
Chocolate Oreo Crunch
Peanut Butter Crunch

After trying so many different flavours, I still prefer my favourite Coffee Muesli Crunch!!

It was topped with bland cornflakes, sweet raisins and chocolate powder.
The topping itself was magnificent. Words cannot describe how happy I was!
The soft chewy bun went very well with the topping and the filling (coffee cream).
The filling was EXTREMELY creamy, but fattening! The cream filling was sweet, fragrant with the scent of coffee,
tasted super awesome with the soft bun!!

The Chocolate Madness was also one of my favourite!!!
The topping was so rich in chocolate gravy!!!
Chocoholic me love it so much too!!!

Same goes to Chocolate Almond Crunch and Peanut Butter Crunch.
People who love nuts can go for these as the nuts are very fragrant and crispy.

As for the other buns with cheese, I didn't really liked them because I think the cream filling is already thick and creamy enough, I find it a little disgusting to have cheese topping on top of the buns.

Service was very good and the environment was not bad.
Will buy sommore Chewy Juniors to try!!! smile

Beef Noodles Smile Jan 19, 2013

One great place to eat beef noodles will be at the Beef Noodles stall in Food Junction at Nex.
I have patronized this stall a couple of times, and I will always go back to eat their delicious beef noodles.

The prices of their beef noodles are not very expensive.
For example, this bowl of sliced beef noodles costs me $4, with a bowl of soup.

The price will be increased to $5 (+ $1) if I want to have meatballs in my soup.

There do have other parts for you to add on lol

I find the gravy of the noodles thick, smooth and not salty.
Perfect taste when eaten with the noodles (coarse vermicelli).

The healthy green vegetables were also very fragrant.

Soup was great, and the meatballs were nice as well.

And most importantly, the beef was GOOD smile

Love this stall so much. The service was also good. However, during lunch and dinner time, it is very difficult to find seats there mad
