I visited this restaurant with my family recently. I am a very avid lover of Steamboat and I must say this Steamboat dinner exceeded my expectations.

Taste

This restaurant specialises in its signature sauces and soup base. They are a must try! Be it if you are a spicy soup-based lover or someone that goes for a nutritious broth. Their steamboats does not come in a big pot where everyone shares the steamboat! Everyone has an individual pot of steamboat and their special pot cooks the ingredients well. My family members ordered the laksa soup base because they really love laksa. Being a food lover, I decided to have a spoonful of the laksa steamboat. It really goes well with the ingredients. A must try for the bak kut teh lovers is their bak kut teh based steamboat. It is very nutritious and full of flavour!

Environment

I really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was conducive for dining and a great place to have a group gathering or a family dinner ( in my case.) I heard they have VIP rooms available too!

Service

Their staff were warm and friendly and prompt to answer to the customer's demand. They gave me an enriching experience.

Price

We ordered the exclusive set dinner. It cost us around $30 per pax. Whats more convenient is that I was able to use mastercard to pay for it.

We are definitely heading down to try more flavours and indulge in other set meals for our next family dinner!

I ordered a foot-long Chicken & Bacon Ranch from the premium menu. I can still feel the crunchy taste of the bacon strips and the soft delicious chicken melting in my mouth en route to the 'bottomless pit' I call my stomach. Being the foodie that I am, I could go on and on about food that I ate. To cut my story short, here are my takes for this outlet :

1)Taste

A mixture of bacon and chicken , this is like the best of both worlds! For those veggie lovers out there, I recommend you to try all the veggie there and mix with the sauce of your choice. Adding vegetables to your subway really brings out the best in the menu that you ordered.

2)Environment & Service

Overall, I did not encounter any bad service experience. On the contrary, the servers were prompt and friendly. The only downside could be that I have to repeat myself once or twice before they confirmed my choice of veges and sauce. A customer's service experience is dependent on the server's attitude. Overall, I am glad to say I had a good experience.

3) Cleanliness & Price

As it is a fast-food restaurant, all outlets have standards protocols for cleanliness and fixed pricing. So I do not have any qualms about it. I paid $13.10 for the foot long bacon and ranch meal. This includes 2 complementary cookies and free flow of drink. so it was worth the price.

One visit is not enough. Smile Sep 05, 2012

Ever wanted to try a fusion of Chinese, Indian, Malay Food? Then Inle Myanmar Restaurant is the place to go. So, my Burmese friend has always been telling me how great Burmese food are. So I decided to go with her to get a first-hand experience of Burmese Food. Via the recommendation of my friend, I tried one of their famous dishes and their popular Dessert. Unfortunately, due to their extensive menu, I could not try all the dishes.

Taste

This glass of pinkish sea with myriad of swimming 'treasures' is called Hpa Lu da or as I like to call it, the Bandung treasure glass. It consists of a Floating island of vanilla ice cream , the 'treasures' : which includes various jellies , chestnut, sago seeds fruits and pudding swimming in the sea of Rose Cordial Syrup. It is a great dessert for those with sweet tooth ( like me!). I also had a fine time digging out 'treasures' and tasting them. I had my doubts before I taste the dessert, however , I must agree the drink and the 'treasures' complement each other really well.

'Do not judge a book by its cover'. This is my take-away when tasting this dish. Its translation in English means Claypot Rice. When I first saw the dish, I did not think it was claypot rice at all! The dish does not even look like a claypot. There was just an assortment of vegetables and Chicken ( I ordered the Chicken ; they also have pork and seafood ). So I was told to mix them up and mix I did. When the first spoonful of them entered my mouth, I was literally blown away by the rich taste of the food. You could taste the vegetable , rice , meat and gravy all at once! So it was definitely an eye-opener and a 'tongue-blaster' experience for me.

Environment & Service

The waiter thought I was a burmese and he asked for my order in Burmese. His 'one-hundred-syllables' a minute got me tongue-tied. Luckily I had someone who could order for me. The restaurant also plays their native music. I guess this place caters more to the Burmese that are living in Singapore. But of course, I can spot a few Singaporeans and Caucasians at the other tables. The service people look friendly enough, maybe they should be encouraged to speak more English so as to cater to 'outsiders' like me.

Price

The dishes may seem expensive, but they are more than affordable (considering is a restaurant). An ala carte dish like the claypot rice would cost you around 7 dollars while the dessert is around $4.50.

Definitely going back to try out more dishes.
