Town restaurant is a very big restaurant that offers very extensive buffet spread! Quality of food here were mostly quite good and Service was great as well. Nothing to complain actually. The prices are very reasonable for the buffet spread!Roasted Duck Open Sandwich: Delicious bite-size tender roasted duck sit on a crispy toast that u have to try!! Yummy!Wa Ku Kueh: Colourful and soft mini wa ku kueh, best to complement with the orange sugar! It's a refreshing jelly with a piece of apple and grape and very mild alcohol taste - Must-Try!!!There are too much food items to show here. International Buffet with Classy Ambience, Great Service, and Sinful Desserts! It is rare to find a buffet where almost all the food tastes fresh and wonderful. The restaurant also provides great service and an elegant ambience where you can dine in style comfortably. continue reading

Had lunch buffet at Town Restaurant, having heard some good reviews online. As I am pregnant, the staff at the reservation counter was very thoughtful to provide cushion for me. I pretty much enjoyed the lunch session, though the savoury food were pretty average.I particularly enjoyed their Hainanese Chicken Rice and Roasted Pork for the savoury food. What left more impression on me would be their dessert, especially the Bread & Butter Pudding and Apple Crumble. For more info: http://efatrie.blogspot.sg/2013/12/lunch-buffet-at-town-restaurant.html continue reading

In a spur of the moment we decided to indulge in a magnificent buffet lunch at The Fullerton one day. I had expected the buffet spread to be of excellent quality but it turned out to be pretty average. Because it was an international buffet with a mixture of different cuisines, you get a plate of roast duck next to your pasta; and it just doesn't pair up that nicely for me. I enjoyed my Italian buffet at Basilico much more than this buffet at Town Restaurant. However, I must say that their seafood was very fresh; especially the scallops and salmon sashimi. Their desserts were quite bad except for the mini tarts and I didn't get to try their ice cream. Overall, it was a very full meal but not very satisfying in terms of the quality of the food. continue reading

Dining at the Town Restaurant was an overall enriching experience. Not only do you get to taste a wide array of food and educate your foreign guests on the tantalizing treats, but you are also able to walk them down the historical journey of the Singapore River as they dine in appreciation of the food and hear the Singapore story unraveled before them. The staff was alert and efficient in changing dirty utensils for cleaner ones, creating a pleasant dining experience. Feel free to approach them if you require any assistance because they are adequately knowledgeable to provide you with the appropriate advise. continue reading
