Came here for dinner one night and after the delicious malaysian dishes we needed something to cool off. Headed to the dessert stall to grab a ice kachang to share. The ice kachang is not cheap costing $2.80 per bowl. However one unique thing about this ice kachang is that it comes with a sarsi type syrup which adds a whole new flavour profile to otherwise regular ice kachang.

The chendol here is really really good for Singapore standards. i would even go to say it is probably one of the best you can get in Singapore. The red beans are all cooked to perfection, so soft and sweet that there is almost no resistance to them. The gula melaka used is premium quality too, thick smooth rich and sweet! The coconut milk is rich and delicious and adds tons of flavour. Worth the $2.80 for sure.

Ice Kacang!! There's my favourite Yam ice cream on top! The red bean is not to my liking but acceptable. haha they were too large! Red Bean King!

They cost about $2.50 per bowl and it is quite reasonable compared to other food court and to think of it, it is in Sentosa! Didn't you think the price could have been doubled? Nope! in fact they may be cheaper ( and taste a lot better ) than other dessert stalls. When you have $2.50 and you are thinking of buying a cup of bubble tea, think again, perhaps you should try this stall's dessert!

Oh well, these are fattening but since you are in Sentosa, this is a must try! Walk around Sentosa helps to burn all those calories away so no worries!!

Enjoy the great food then exercise more to stay healthy! Haha!

Till next time!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Wouldnt'' say that I would highly recommend it, because this is just a very simple dessert which one can make at home himself. Quite a small portion, just nice for one person! Thought it was quite overpriced for such a simple desert! It was relatively sweet, the tangyuan was quite sticky (and i love it that way). Think those who has a sweet tooth would love it, especially after a tiring day at Sentosa

Decided to walk there instead of taking the mono train. Just a 15min walk fron vivo to sentosa.
Place was crowded with people guess itz Fri night.
Heard that malaysia chendol is better than singapore.
From the way they make it, simple, just add 3 item and ice and gula melaka. And finish, Chendol is serve. costing $2.50 is abit X. Guess u are at sentosa. Things is expensive.
Taste of the chendol is normal compare to local chendol, they have more items added inside.
To taste a real malaysia chendol, must really head down to malaysia to enjoy it.

I am not sure if any of you realize this: Cendols that sells in Singapore are of brighter, lighter green colour, whereas those you find in Malaysia are more of the duller colour. Personally I reckon cendol with duller colour tastes better. This cendol stall serves good authentic cendol. The portion is reasonably big, with shaved ice, red beans, cendol, thicked coconut milk, and good amount of brown sugar (it's called gula melaka in Malay). Thumbs up!

Chendol: Green jelly (chendol) bits and red beans on shaved ice, drizzled with gula melaka and coconut milk. The chendol might seemed over priced at $2.50 but each bowl is quite big. I wished they were slightly more generous with the portions of chendol bits and red beans since there was a lot of shaved ice stuffed in a bowl. The chendol served here is fatter than what is typically served in SG and the red beans were also bigger and chunkier. These definitely up the satisfaction level of having a simple chendol as dessert!
