Before chinese new year going to end, my family decided to visit 5his chinese restaurant to have a good feast. Restaurant was quite spacious and comfortable and cooling as well. The service was friendly and fast toom love their deep fried yam which is crispy and not too oily. The yu sheng was alright but would be better if more sauces were provided. The stired fried vegetables are crunchy and feesh and not too salty. This meal cost around $20 per person which is quite afforable

I had a weekend gathering with family member to dine in Putien , luckily for us the restaurant is not fully packed due to their normally crowd. My hubby's favourite soup from Putien "Braised Beancurd with Chinese Cabbage" served in a black earthen pot.Healthy Soup, broth is very light. The combination of the soft but not mushy Chinese cabbage and beancurd makes a satisfying soup and simmered at the right temperature. I believe soya milk was added to this soup to enhance the overall flavour.A "must" in our order list during our visits to Putien.

Putien Spice Mum Chilli Sauce is an original concoction prepared entirely in house.The right sauce in combination with the right meat creates gustatory magic to the food such as the blending of the Spice Mum Chilli Sauce with the Drunken Chicken Appetizer.The thickness of the chilli sauce is just right not too watery nor too thick. Putien has many branches and the one in Tampines Mall is always crowded on weekends and during peak dinner hours. Putien offers Heng Hwa cuisine. I had the Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon. The rice noodles were very thin and the entire plate was filled with many ingredients like shrimp and squid. The fried bee hoon was good because the noodles have been fried before being immersed in the flavourful broth. The portion was a little small though so go for the medium sized one.

A very chinese restaurant that I personally wouldn't have frequent if not because of the good reviews I've heard.This is the white Pu Tien Lu Mian that my best friend highly recommended. Seriously I have no idea that this kind of white lor mee can actually taste so nice! Visited this newly opened Pu Tien restaurant in Tampines Mall for dinner, it was full of diners at around 7.30pm. I am always a fan of Pu Tien food. We order a couple of dishes to share for dinner and what i love most are the Tonic prawn soup, Sweet Yam and XO Jellyfish and some others. It only cost us around SGD 20 per head. HAppy after a pleasant meal. Recommended

We had ordered Xing Hua Stir Fried Bee Hoon.The bee hoon came with lots of ingredients as well, clam, mushrooms, nuts, slices of pork and some vegetables all mixed into one package. Homemade beancurd was excellent! Soft, fragrant and delicious. Also had their sweet and sour pork with lychees. Didn't really like it though. The pork pieces were pretty fatty. Next dish is something i would strongly recommend. Steamed cold pork belly with garlic. It do sound and look disgusting but it is really nice! Like beef carppacio but in this case it is pork. Spinach with salted egg and century egg in supreme stock is mad delicious! The sauce is wonderful that you can have it just with plain rice. Very healthy too! We ordered another fried food which is their shrimp roll. Not to my liking though. It is pretty hard and heaty. The staff are nice and friendly though most of them are from China.

It is my Dad's birthday, my sister and I decided to bring the family out for dinner to celebrate Da's Birthday. We don't know where to eat and my hubby suggest to have dinner at Pu Tien Tampines. Pu Tien is one of our favourite to dine out. Do you know only Pu Tien Vivocity has the steam bun. Everytime i visit vivocity, will definitely buy the bun. Food is good, prices are reasonable, definitely a yes to go there again and again.
