the ramen is put into a huge clay pot with a funnel on top. The pot has been heated.Then pour the soup into the pot and the heat cooks the noodles with sizzling heat.The funnel allows the steam to escape and 5 mins later you can eat. Still you may want to wait .The soup is very hot.  One flavoured egg is given and 4 hard boiled eggs are on the table if you want them. The set comes with a free drink. Very delicious and filling for one person.

This is my no. 1 ramen stalls in Singapore. I frequent the restaurant at least 2-3 times a month. A metal "hood" is placed above the hot stone ramen to retain its flavours while it is being cooked with its hot soup. Very generous helping of vegetables & the soup is refillable! Comes with complimentary hard boil egg to go with the ramen as well. We were given a small bowl of rice to be added into the hot soup after finishing the ramen. Best of both worlds isn't it? esp for those who can't decide

Passing by Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen, I and my friend had same sentiment to have Japanese food. Originated from Osaka, this place was actually famous about “Volcanic” Ramen. Wide-ranged menu was given to us from friendly staff, really spoilt for choices. Décor was simple trendy, atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. I been wanting to try this volcano ramen, upon trying a bit disappointment, soup base is too saltish, pork is well-marinated, for $21.20 including gst and service charge, the large portion in fact not full even when we include rice, noodle taste like yellow flat noodles, with lots of cabbage (sweet) and beansprouts, too bad the ingredients are being put in first, causing it to have a lot of burned beansprouts, vegs and noodles in the soup base, in fact not worth to eat for this price, just that

First time trying Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen recommended by my friend and it was really good! Ordered the set with curry rice + Ramen and gyoza. The portion is quite big so it is good for 2 people to share! The ramen is a bit spicy for my liking but it was still good! There are 2 or 3 other ramens to choose from if you order the set. If not, you can order volcano ramen plus rice. Their rice is unlimited so you can just share the portion or eat until you are super full! The service here is really good

They served gyozas in soup here.. very good comfort food! With the rainy cold weather now, hot soup is the best warmer for my after work physical state. Here, the broth was rich and fragrant but a bit salty for me. Oh! First time going this Japanese restaurant and was really impressed by the young and vibrant furnishings. The restaurant is also quite spacious and cooling. Service was friendly as well. Have bought their Spicy Miso Kazan Karamiso ($15) which the meat was really tender and juicy and roasted till very fragrant. Ramen was chewy and portion was generous. The soup base was quite spicy but very tasty!
