It’s piping hot from the oven! In this cold rainy day, it feels really good to be holding a warm bread and delivering it into the mouth. I bought my all time favourite, a cheese bread and i must say that they did a good job. The bread is soft and the cheese is not too salty. What a savoury pastry!

Curry guy is Barcook's curry bread. At $1.50, it is more expensive than the curry breads sold outside, but I decide to give it a try. The curry bread filling is made of potatoes and it is very fragrant. The curry spice is just right in terms of spicyness and I thought the spice was more alike to chinese style of curry. I was recently obsessed with the breads at Barcook Bakery. Their breads are really fresh and warm from the oven. I bought a potato bun which was worth queuing up for! The mixture of potato and cheese was simply perfect. The orange cheese was like oozing out from the already soft mashed potato and the taste was really heavenly. I would go back there again for my bread cravings.

I heard so much of their Raisin Cream Cheese bun which I managed to try at their new outlet in Bugis. It did not disappoint my expectation. I was telling my dad of their famous buns, so when I was at Raffles Place I make it a point to get it for him to try.This time I tried their Mixed Berry Cream Cheese, but I was disappointed. This time i want to try different flavours so i bought the Mash Potato Nacho Bun! I looks good on the exterior look so i gave it a try. Yes, and the same thing as last time, it was warm! (: The filling inside was mashed potato with Nacho cheese in the middle, so if you are a person who prefer strong taste and not sweet stuffs, you can try this. It is more savoury compared to other bun.

Early in the morning, before i go to my office, i went to the Barcook Bakery shop. There are queue like what i've expected, so i queue along. There are about 10 pople infront of me, but within 4 minutes or so, they cleared the queue quick and efficiently! (: So i'm glad that i'm not late for work!Bought Sausage Bun and Ham&Cheese Bread! I fall in love with this bread right from my very first time trying it. Ever since, I have been buying it every time I am in Raffles Place. Normally, when I buy it, I will get the full loaf since it is slightly cheaper than if you get the half loaf. Anyway, I will always finish it within 2 days as I will usually eat it as one of my main meals. It is filled with various types of nuts and also large raisins to balance out the nuts. This Choz Banana cost $1.40 from bar cook bakery.The banana they used is not really ripe one so I can't really taste the sweetness of banana.I always think that chocolate and banana are good partner. And the chocolate really help to enhance the taste pretty much. The chocolate is sweet. Overall, I think this bread is just average and very common.

This is sausage bread with mushroom from barcook bakery.I have tried their sausage bread which really taste quite average and no different from others. Now they have a different flavour with mushroom and mayonaise topping. about 20cents more expensive then the plain sausage bread. A little surprise for me but i find it not really special. The mushroom and sausage doesn't really mix well.

this is cheezy cube bread from Barcook. Again, it is pretty worth it at the price of $1.30 for each. The slogan for their bakery is ''Still hot from the oven'' and the bread are usually available ‘still warm’ from the oven all day. I am truly agree the breads they are selling have real quality and absolute freshness. I am so blessed because they are able to serve us the freshly-baked breads with outstanding taste, superior quality and unmatched freshness!

This bakery has a never-ending queue especially during lunch and evening, when most people knock off.Their famous signature item is definitely the cream cheese raisin bun. People in line sometimes get a dozen of it at one go. I tried it and I love it.'Soft like marsh mellows and the cream cheese, which tastes really natural, melts in your mouth. The raisin add to an extra touch!

This is bread I bought from Barcook bakery. I like this otah bread. As a bread lover, the texture for this mini bun is very nice and soft. The elasticity for the bread dough is just nice. The otah is quite thin and the mayonnaise sauce on top of the bread is very nice

Everything in Barcook just taste wonderful, from the famous raisin crème cheese to other buns variety to egg tarts are really great. The egg tart is a new creation where each costs $1.50 and two pieces costs $2.50. Freshly baked out of the oven, I bought a piece to try and the verdict is awesome. The egg tart is not oily, but yet crispy on the crust and tender on the custard. A good value for money!
