This bakery shop definitely is quite huge in size.and many choices of bread and cake available here.  The service here is quite friendly and fast as well.  I have bought their raisin bread to try which is only at $1.80 per packet.  Bread is soft and moist and lots of juicy raisins can be found inside. Great to eat it on its own.

For so many years, this bakery at the Toa Payoh Hub is always so popular, even there is a number of other bakeries nearby. This outlet is always very crowded with queues. The staffs are forever busy refilling the display shelves. Most items are priced about $1.40. I have bought a mushroom chicken puff which costs $1.50 each. Service is quite fast at the counter. The puff pastry does not crispy enough for my liking. The filling inside is quite tasty.

While Cake History sells bread, this branch also sells fruit juice. Instead of considering the fruit juices on the signboard, you should consider the "Juice of the day". Really impressed with the wide range of pastries, cakes and biscuits available in this bakery shop. This shop is quite neat and clean and really like the bright and colourful layout here. I have bought their blueberry waffle, which is at $1.40 each. The waffle is quite soft and moist, which fill with the pandan flavour during every bites of it. THe blueberry jam is sweet and goes well with the waffle. Service was alright too.

It is often said that history will not repeat itself but at cake history, they seem to be futuristic orientated...So i guess they make the cut of a good lesson learnt... I went to Toa Pa Yoh last sunday and dropped by Cake History at interchange to try fruity juice.I was really thirsty as weather is too hot.I ordered strawberry and banna mixed juice with milk that costs $2.5.Normal cup without milk is $1.80.I sit nearby the shop and rest a while.It was really very satisfied and make me fresh.Taste's not too sweet, smooth and really milky as well. As usual, I was buying bread for my breakfast. It took a while for me to figure out that the flower-shaped bread was baked together with Hot-dog.Pretty in appearance, like a flower. The hot dog was cut into small pieces then mixed together with bread. The bun was soft and slightly sweet. Although I bought breads at Cake History always, but this is my first time to try it. Staying at Toa Payoh for about two years. I like the environment and convenience here. Cake History locates at the corner of HDB Hub. There is always a queue in the morning. another neighbourhood bakery. but it is fantastic! love their mooncakes. and reasonable pricing. they are directly opposite breadtalk and the definitely have more customers and variety of buns then breadtalk. service is lousty and unfriendly. but the variety is great. love the custard egg yolk bun! grainy bits of egg yolk custard was fresh and rich and well balanced. the bun was baked not steamed. very fragrant and moreish. about $2.50

this is another one of their heart shaped bread. they seem to change the flavour for the heart shaped bread on a weekly basis. this time it is green and also had no description or price so we just bought it as it looked cute. cost about $3. did not know what the filling really was, but it was a green paste - sort of like lotus pandan paste. and the other half of it was some bean paste. interesting concoction.

this bread is interesting. it is heart shaped. we bought it without knowing what was in it as there was no price and no signage or description. in the end it costs about $2.50. interesting filling. still not 100% sure what it is. mostly there is black sesame and some sweet paste. it is very pretty to look at. the bread itself is a bit dry and dense. took some chewing to get through. very filling as it is quite big.
