Not sure if everyone has heard of this yummy egg tarts yet I remembered i was first intrigued by the shape of these goodies I'm sure till now it's the only egg tart looking like this in Singapore!They have many flavours to choose from, be it sweet or salted Being the traditional thinking i am, i prefer my egg tarts to be sweet flavoured I bought the green tea and melting chocolate flavour ones!They have a few chocolate choices so if you don't know what to pick, be sure to ask for recommendation

It has been a while since I last bought takeaway from Fancy Delight. They seem to have introduced new flavors I've never seen before. So today I purchased a box of six...my picks are Pandan red bean, kaya, double choc, white choc coffee, cheese & kiwi tarts. Not quite sure what time the discount actually starts but the egg tarts were going off for $1 each. They were going off fast!I managed to buy the last piece of kaya and the apple cinnamon egg tarts. The other 2 were original and which peoplewere less interested in. (The flavours really enhanced the taste!) The kaya was rather strong and fragrant that itoverwhelmed the taste of the egg. My friend choose the green tea and orange chocolate while I choose the double chocolate and durian! Look at the shape ofthese egg tarts, so different from the normal ones. They looked like little flower pots filled with egg custards. The eggcustards were really soft and yummy! We split all 4 into halves so that we could share all the flavours. I have always like to eat the egg tarts at fancy delights because it is really tasty and comes in different flavours. Today i tried a new flavour that i never tried before which is the double chocolate but i didn't quite like it. I think i would prefer the original flavour kind which is more authentic i feel. But overall i would recommend this to anyone who is a egg tart lover.

So i was in Ion, then i came by this shop. I saw them selling different types of tarts.they were serving it really hot. and i decided to try one. I bought the double chocolate tart. i was actually thinking that it will taste like the normal tart. But it totally gave me the different taste. the tart actually really nice. This seemed very different compared to the fruit tarts I usually have at delifrance so I decided to give it a try...Bad idea. It tasted abit like pudding and wasn't sweet enough. The exterior was not so bad though..it had a very nice crisp taste to it. Don't think I'll try it again though. Delifrance's fruit tarts and munee's fruit tarts are definitely still the best!

the photo above is original egg tart i bought from fancy delight. it is great to eat it for breakfast or afternoon tea break. i will always toast it before i eat, because it tastes best when it is warm. the sweetness and taste of the custard tart filling is great. my family and I love to eat it. and there are many choice of flavour for the egg tart

Not sure about the service. Not very friendly at all. There's a wide range of flavours to choose from. And everything is very colourful and bright and neat! Rows and rows of colourful tarts! Really grabs your attention when you walk past the shop. Each tart is bite sized so you finish it in one mouthful! Very eggy and custardy. The flavours all blend well with the egg custard. I was tasked by my little sister to drive her to nex so that she can get her regular dose of egg tarts. She is quite particular about egg tarts and it seems to me that only those from fancy delights meets her expectation. I, myself, have to admit those egg tarts at fancy delight is really good. they have quite a number of different flavours. I love the kiwi flavor ones. It is kind of sweet but the pastry is really good. the egg filling is very smooth as well.

Decided to try out the Orange Chocolate and Coffee tarts after so much walking, Nex is so crowded and rather narrow... The coffee one has several white chocolates by the top. The coffee aroma is rather heavy in this one! The orange chocolate was somewhat interesting but never really got to me. The fusion between them was more overwhelming for the orange instead of the chocolate. I would say that it somewhat reminds me of eating Van Houten's orange chocolate.
