Swee Heng Bakery (已結業)

This is my second time trying their cakes. This time I tried their chocolate cake slice, a box contains 5-6 slices.The top was chocolate while the bottom layer is yellow-coloured. It tasted like butter. I think it is a nice combination. The chocolate was nice but a bit too sweet. In comparison, I prefer the yellow layer as it is not too sweet with a nice butter fragrance. The price is average, service is okay. I would recommend this place to others.

I love the Pandan Cake frm Swee Heng. So I was very happy when my dad came home with a Pandan Cake bought frm there and immediately went to get a knife to cut them into pieces and have one for myself. I love going to Swee Heng as they have a wide assortment of breads for sale. It was tea-time and as I was feeling quite hungry, I decided to go down and buy some bread for myself. I saw this Chicken Ham with Cheese Bread in a plastic packaging, selling at only $3.80. My dad was eating supper yest night & since i was hungry too, i decided to join him. There was an unopened box of Pandan Cake he had bought from Swee heng bakery the day before and so i decided to eat that. My dad helped me opened up the plastic box of the Pandan Cake & he started slices them into pieces using a small knife. The Pandan was soft, really nice. Even those with weak teeth should be able to eat it. But the thing is dislike is that the taste of the colouring used in it was quite stron

I happened to pass by Swee Heng and decided to get a bread for my lunch as I was still filling quite full from my late breakfast. Most of the breads here range from $1.10-$1.20, which is quite affordable. This otah and cheese bread cost me $1.20. The bread is very nicely shaped and a quarter of a slice of cheese is melted on top of the otah bread and each "petal" of the bread has some otah. The bread is soft, a little spicy and very delicious with the mix of the cheese and otah.

coffee cake ($14)Went to cake shop near my house to celebrate friends' birthday. The cake base was soft with coffee smell. The cream was quite a lot which but not too sweet and there is a lil' coffee bitterness. $14 was consider cheap for half kg cake.

My friend bought me this mushroom bread for breakfast on v-day. Its my first time eating a heart-shaped bread and I thought it was pretty unique! I liked the mix of crabmeat with portobello mushrooms! The bits of ham and mayo were also well spread on the bun. Warm and tasty I would say. Seems like I should check out this bread confectionery for other flavors soon!
