A hearty breakfast to welcome the weekends! The breakfast sets were decent though nothing much to shout about. Steak & Eggs ($14.90++)The set consisted of a minute steak, sunny side up, sautéed mushrooms, BBQ baked beans and their butter cream ciabatta rolls. The steak was a little tough but within acceptable quality. When you think of Swensen's , you will probably think of American styles ice cream and beef menus. Nevery would anyone think of Chicken Bugers.I had ordered their Chicken Burger today. I was very surprised, there was so many grilled meat in between the burger bread. There should be more meat than any Chicken Chop.The meat was grilled to perfection. You would actually eat the meat instead of the bread. It was more worth than ordering their chicken chop.

I am a fan of fish & chips, so whenever I step into a restaurant which i haven't ordered a fish & chips before, i will order one. However, swensen's fish & chips failed the expectation I had for it. The dish cost $15.90 which was decent, but the taste is below average. Their coleslaw was not too bad, the fries was okay but the fish was too dry. The batter was soggy at some parts, and I totally do not find that the food is worth the price.

For the first time, I ordered an adult meal at Swensen's. I would usually get the kid's meal because the adult portion was too much. However, this time, for a change, I ordered an adult meal as I was feeling rather hungry. I tried the Baked Spaghetti Bolognese. My parents like the ice-cream found at Swensen's, particularly the Frosted Chocolate Malt. They like it because of the Malt inside the ice-cream. The ice-cream is vanilla with hot fudge. It is topped with a chocolate coated cherry and a chocolate coated biscuit. My brother and I would end up fighting for the cherry. As the portion is quite big, my family usually share one cup. It is sufficient for a dessert. It is really nice and I would always order that ice-cream as dessert whenever I go there

After having my dinner, I went over to Swenson's for dessert. I wanted to try something different, different from my usual Frosted Chocolate Malt, and since I love Oreo, I chose the Oreo Frozen Yogurt. It was oreo frozen yogurt mixed with a little Strawberry frozen yogurt and topped with one mini oreo. Well, it was nice, but I couldn't really taste the strawberry and oreo. I was very glad that I have acquried the Swensen's card. It was pretty worthy card. It gave you a free coffee/tea everytime you visit the restaurant. You could also order any drink from the menu at $1. This time I asked for caramel coffee float to go with my grilled salmon. When they served me the drink before my meal, I was a little frustrated. Bruschetta, an italian cuisine. It is basically just toasted Italian bread drenched in olive oil and served typically with garlic or tomatoes. The bruschetta found in Swensen's is serve with tomatoes and a little bit of onion. However, the bread is a little too hard, so sometimes, my teeth hurt a little. But, it is nice. I had been eating Yoghurt Fruz from Swensen since I was young, however they stopped selling it for quite a while but now it is back! I have ordered a Oreo flavor as they are running out of fresh fruit. The frozen yoghurt is very crunchy and a strong oreo and chocolate taste. Usually I don’t like the filling in the oreo but the way they mixed the oreo and yoghurt, I could barely taste the filling.

We usually go to the one at IMM though the service is pretty average because it's the nearest..ANYWAY, this review is going to be about their fries.Their US fries is always fried to a crispy,golden tinge and it's ALWAYS good.Never too salty or flimsy, their fries has got to be the best as compared to other restaurants of the same category..

I love eating at swensens', but their price can be quite expensive for some food. I find their baked rice are nice, spaghetti are nice, main course are nice, and of course their desserts are nice too! Especially their ice cream! This time i ordered the usual food i always have, in addition, i ordered the milkshake and cheesy muscle. I love these 2 and definitely becomes the item i must order when i visit swensens' again!
