Casual Japanese restaurant, Umi Sushi aimed to be quick and cheap always. The presentation was absolutely adorable, all in mini size. Ambience at the eatery was basically bright and hygiene, service was extraordinary prompt. I was craving for sushi! so i decided to go to umisushi! It was my virgin trip there and i was shock to see teriyaki chicken there!!! Kinda curious how does it taste like, i decided to buy it. It was up to my expectation. Not really very nice but not too bad either. I kinda like the rice more that the chicken as the sauce on the rice was just nice and they blend in perfectly! I cant cant get enough of the rice!

One of the reasons I love umisushi is because they have Arizona tea! This is really hard to find in Singapore and so far only seen it in umi sushi and some other Japanese food town. Umisushi offers good Japanese fast food at very affordable price. Chuka Wakame ($2.70) is the seaweed salad served with sesame, it tastes slightly sour and appetizing. Lobster salad ($3.20) is yummy. Decided to settle for umisushi for lunch. Located at the basement food level, umisushi is actually a takeaway sushi kiosk with some seats behind for customers to enjoy their food. Beside sushi, they also serve some hot udon and bento sets at affordable prices. I ordered their really value for money Sushi Set C ($4.40) which contained a variety of sushi which includes tamago sushi, prawn sushi, salmon sushi, unagi sushi, egg roe sushi. The sushi were quite decent; they were fresh and enjoyable. T

like the bento from umisushi because it is delicious!the rice is nicely cooked, with some stickiness and chewiness with it. the gravy that is simmered onto the rice is teriyaki sauce and its sweet and sour. i like the side dish which is the cold preserved vege that is sourish and appetizing. the chicken given is quite large in portion also, and tender and juicy.

Satisfy my little craving for sushi by buying this Hana Maki since it's so convenient. Just pick the favourite item, pay and eat it on the go. Their sushi are all very fresh and delicious. Definitely worth the price. The staff also handed me a packet of soy sauce even though I didn't ask for it.

After dancing me and my friend would always get pretty hungry. So their sushi after my dancing time which is around nine pm, is at a discount of 1 dollar. Its pretty cheap. I bought crabmeat sushi. It still tastes fresh ! it is fresh and cheap so i am quite thankful for it !

It's comparatively cheaper than other places but it's not as fresh or tasty. The presentation is alright. It used to be very badly presented but they have upped their standards. The food is still not exactly up to standard but it's improved. There is a lot of variety to choose from and they are pretty cheap. However, the taste is not up to my standard so I will not recommend this place. It is a convenient location and convenient for takeaways. Service is alright.
