I was attracted by the crowd initially and sampled a few flavours before decided on the one. I had moscato. It was sweet and tasty with a faint taste of white grapes. I topped it off with mini marshmallows. The only frustrating part was that the cup was so small and the ice cream were overflowing. Probably they are trying to portray that the serving is huge . Oh well..

A gastronomic dining concept that specialises in burgers in a semi-casual setting, relish does it all -With a tasteful decor that fashions artful, giant lamps hanging from the ceiling, to the strong, wooden tables and nifty bar counter, this place is really perfect to impress a date ;) While burgers can be pr...

Came across this newly opened dessert store at Changi Village. You won't miss it, the decor is rather eye catching. They sell traditional desserts like sesame paste, and also mango pomelo sago, etc. I got the durian pomelo ($5), but was rather disappointed, as it wasn't puree but watery, with lumps of ice and durian scattered around, wouldn't recommend this. I got my mum the purple ...

The name of this stall immediately got the attention of ours and we ended up buying the cold beancurd dessert from them. There are a few variants available, the original, durian, chocolate, almond etc. I originally wanted the durian soya beancurd but it was sold out so I bought five tubs of almond soya beancurd back home to try. The almond flavour costs $2. The almond soya beancurd is quite...

I decided to try the Yong Tau Foo with laksa gravy and rice from this stall. I found the laksa gravy really good. it was thick and rich in flavour. however the surface of the gravy was a little oily. there were plenty of yong tau foo ingredients to choose from as well. all were very fresh and delicious. their sweet sauce is also a must take. it was not too sweet but adds a little something to...
Chinta Manis located at Greenwich Village sells a wide range of traditional Nyonya Kueh. Whenever i pass by this stall, i will buy my fav nonya kueh which is the colorful layered kueh. The kueh has a nice rich color and it has the nice aroma of coconut and panda. I have the habit of eating one layer at a time, the kueh is very soft and slightly chewy. This would make the ideal afterno...

Looking for new dessert place around town area and found Vanilla Bar & Café. I ordered a Chocolate Molten Cake. Warm dark brown cake was rich and luscious, when I cut into the middle of the dense cake, gooey and hot chocolate slowly flows out. Accompanied by cold smooth and velvety vanilla ice cream. This place is cozy and quiet, would definitely come back again to try the savor...
As one of my colleagues is vegetarian, we are recommended by him to try out this unique vegetarian Japanese cuisine, located at Fortune Centre, Bugis. The ambience is quite nice, just that it's a little bit noisy and the lighting is dim. We ordered the bento set each and some side dish to share. The mock salmon sashimi really imitates the texture and even the flavour of the real salmon...

The bentos are on promotion here at this Japanese Stall. Two for $9.90. you get to choose from four of their choices. My sister and I both chose the same one which was the Teriyaki Chicken and Fish Bento. The chicken was deep fried then drizzled with teriyaki sauce. I found the chicken a little dry probably due to the deep frying. The skin was crispy but the meat was a little tough...

Fish soup is my all times favourite choice in foodcourt. Whenever I lost idea of what to eat, I just choose fish soup with rice, it solves my indecision of food issue. Having patronised this stall for a few times, short queue is expected during peak time. I like my fish soup with non-fried fish slices and clear soup base. Then I can taste the original flavour. Their fish slices are...
