I LOVE breakfast for dinners.When I heard of all-day breakfast served at Hatched (Evans Lodge), i knew i have to try it!As the restaurant name suggests, they serve only mostly eggs. Poached, fried, boiled, baked, scrambled, real ones, fake ones, cartoon ones lols. You name it, they have it.Love the old school location.Definitely have to try the egg benedict there!They have SO MANY different types! We went to hatched to check it out I ordered Cowboy Burger $17 – Tender and juicy beef steak sitting on a fluffy and chewy toasted english muffin topped with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. This sir benedict set from hatched is a perfect way to start of your day. love the half cooked egg with the muffin slices and fresh green vegetables at the side. The egg benedict goes really well with the hollandaise sauce and the ham under the egg adds an additional aroma and fragrance to the muffin. A filling and satisfying breakfast sure to satisfy everybody!

Had the burger at Hatched and it was so filling. The portion was big and the burger was worth the price you will be paying. The flavour of the beef was excellent and love that the meat was not overly dry and still juicy to the bite. The french fries were thickly cut and soft on the inside while maintaining a crunch on the outside. Love this dish and is definitely a change from their egg sets.

Merlion Wayfarer had been wanting to try Hatched for some time eversince seeing a TV program on it.So it was finally, on one cloudy day that she ended up in Hatched after a visit to the nearby Botanical Gardens. My friend and I decided to lunch at Hatched before going to gardens by the bay Total bill was around $30.Their menus looked really cute and creative.Smoke Royal $13 This is half an English muffin, topped with smoked salmon, poached egg and Hollandaise sauce, served with homemade mash. This is their Lychee Yogurt which we were told that it is home-made which means they did not add any perservatives to it as it will be healthier than those you buy from Major supermarkerts. I have tasted the yogurt and it taste good! and it is not too milky or tasteless while the lychee taste is there and i dont think they put in colourings nor flavourings in it! yummy (:

We ordered for English Tea to relax and drink them while chatting. It is actually for 1 pax but we shared among 4 person for a few small cups. There's other choices but not just this type of tea. And we ordered for Omelette which contains alot of mushrooms on the inside as the main ingredident. And there's a full piece of white bread and butter to eat with. Therefore we cut them to pieces to eat it. If only they do have wholemeal bread to choose from..

The bowl is full of warm scrambled eggs and there's some english sausage which tasted like "la jiang" in chinese. And there's some mashed potato by the side and some light toasted bread to go with. It really feels like breakfast when you have egg and bread to go with. It is indeed a great meal over there chatting with my friends and enjoying the food on the table and environment is good!

The location of Evans Lodge is very hard to get there as there's no nearby public transport. And when you alight at botantic garden, you still got to take another bus there and walk about 10 minutes then you will reach. It is totally difficult to get there.. Anyway I tried their Salmon Royale which is really good but it is a little bit pricy already! There's poached egg on top and some mash potato, veggies by the side..

There seems to be an eggs benedict craze in Singapore! Anyhow, here I am with a friend at Hatch for my eggs benedict fix.I need 2 eggs bens to satisfy my craving. One with corn beef and one with smoke salmon! I like eggs ben with smoke salmon, corn beef is not bad too! After hearing a lot of good reviews about Hatched, my friend & I decided to visit Hatched on a Sunday too. I ordered a Sir benedict which consists of half muffin with ham, bacon & poached egg.
