Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant (Closed)

All 4 of us ordered the ice milk tea. As we looked at the group of Korean girls beside us, their drinks were so colourful while ours were all brown. LOLFries with minced beef sauce. The sauce flavour were so faint that I could almost feel nothing. The more I ate, the moretasteless it felt.Cher had the spaghetti with beef steak. All of us had spaghetti as they had ran out of rice. Every of our dishes lookedthe same. Spaghetti, gravy, large tomato slices, a stalk of broccoli and some melted cheese

This is their yuen yang milk tea whereby alot of hong kong people would drink at their country. And in Singapore, they called it Coffee milk tea. It is not bad just that it is a little bit too sweet already perhaps they added too much of sugar syrup. The next time if i were to order this again then i will ask for reduce in sugar. But the overall taste is not bad, the coffee taste is quite strong.

I ordered for this Iced Fresh honey lemon drink $3. It was refreshing and smoothing to throat as there are sliced lemons inside. It tasted yummy when you eat their other food over there and order this. It is non-caffine. The place is filled with people on the weekends as i queue with my friends outside for 10 minutes before we can enter. They sells food like spaghetti, western type, baked rice! Everything is reasonably priced!

Went there with friend for dinner. I ordered the hot and spicy noodles with beef. When the food was served, it was huge in a bowl and its red. First bite, the soup was not spicy at all and the noodles were springy and chewy. The soup base was a bit salty. The beansprouts were chewy and crunchy. The beef were tender and fresh. The honey green tea was tase good. It was cool and very refreshing. The taste was just right, not overly sour or sweet. Overall, the food was average.

It is my second time visiting hong kong kim gary restaurant. Had to queue for around 30 mins before we were able to get a table as it was a saturday evening. The restaurant was rather noisy and we requested to change to a table nearer to the end and they were very willing to do so. Ordered the mix grill curry with rice and it was great, it was very worth it as the mix grill itself had sausage, egg, potatos, pork, chicken cutlet, corn in it. Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant in Vivocity (Singapore) serves nice Hong Kong type of food. Somewhat like a 'Cha Chan Teng' in Hong Kong. They served baked rice (many choices), soups, drinks, desserts and noodles. The Vivocity branch service staff was friendly and good service. Mrupupup seems to like their baked rice in an traditional hot bowl. Attached a photo of the traditional hot bowl with eel meat, vegetables, egg and rice. Very nice.

I went to kim gary with a couple of my girlfriends at vivo city. We are die hard fans of hong kong food and kim gary seemed to serve very authentic hong kong food. I ordered their stir fried spaghetti. Normally you will stir fry noodles but for kim gary they replaced the noodles with spaghetti instead. It was a pretty cool concept as I love spaghetti. The spaghetti is so smooth and cooked perfectly. Spaghetti is very easy to overcook but they did it really well. I love how the spaghetti tasted.

This time round I have decided to order the set meal which has the main course, choose either borsch or cream soup and it is served with a drink. I have ordered the Cheese Baked Rice with Chicken Chop and I chose borsch soup. The chicken chop is very tender and I am in love with their borsch soup. However, the soup portion is too little.

Cheese Baked Rice with Pork Chop, it is a dish that has the combination of both Asian and Western style. The cheese produces a very nice aroma and I love the burnt part of the cheese. It is delicious. However, the tomato sauce over the pork chop tastes rather unusual. Overall, it is quite nice to be consumed.

Located at the habour side of Vivo City, this restaurant provides a gorgeous sea view to the diners. I had the Borsch soup ($4) as a starter. The soup is slightly plain. Not much ingredients too. I quite like the Korean noodles with fried egg and shreded meat ($6.8). The soup is spicy yet appetizing. The noodles is well-cooked and of good texture. I also have the Iced Fresh honey lemon drink ($3/each), very soothing and refreshing with quite a few slices of lemon.

Walked around vivo on a sunday afternoon and wanted to find a casual restaurant and often walked past kim gary to see a long queue and as we often eat at ungodly hours we were lucky to see no queue here so decided to try.. ANgmokia ordered the baked rice and said was not bad.. portion was good.. not too overwhelming with rice and was good value for money.. But i think its not a place i would come back often for..
