I had the Salmon which came with carrots and 2 potato broccoli patty. I really like the sauce used for salmon (can be bought at the shop on level 1) and the patty, which was somehow just really yummy! It doesn't look like much but you could taste the soft potato cubes mixed in with broccoli. If only they sell it by its own, I would definitely buy many of it home! Sometimes, you just want a cool relaxed place to have some comfot food in a hot afternoon. IKEA comes to mind at such times. This time round, we tried their cheesecake dessert  -not too bad (3 for $1). Also tried their chicken curry as well - spicy as usual. My son loved it. Of course, most people go for the fried chicken wings - we ordered some butwere trying not to over eat as it is fried very well. My family loves IKEA Alexandra and it's restaurant. We just do. Many complain but we're still fans.They have a new dish on the menu and it's Pork Ribs with Fries. Well, the ribs are a generous slab of about 5 ribs. Tasty wise is ok but a tad too dry. It's without sauce so the overall pretty dry.The other dishes are well covered so I won't add on.I'll be back definitely!

I had breakfast at Ikea Alexandra branch.  The mee siam was served in a bowl rather than shallow plate.  I prefer mee siam served in bowl as the bee hoon is fully soaped in the bowl and the bee hoon can be soften. Meatballs in ikea tasted awesome especially with the brown sauce and jam! The meatballs are cooked well and it was served while it was hot. Mashed potatoes was ok, not that special. With Ikea family card you can get free coffee or tea too. The meal is affordable and good.

I went to ikea with my friends for lunch today. Ordered a poached salmon @ $7.90. I had asked for separate sauce as i did not really like the sauce. Ikea chicken wings are my all time favourite and indeed one of the best chicken wings i ever had. The chicken wings were hot and crispy, the inside was tender and juicy. It cost $7.50 for 6 pieces, quite reasonable price too. However, as ikea had most probably reused the oil many times to deep fry the chicken wings, appearance wise, the wings looked really black and not a nice brown colour though ):

Dark Chocolate Cake $3the size of the cake is just nice for one person so it will not be overwhelming on the tastebuds. It is quite sweet but still acceptable. Kids meal - 5 pieces Swedish meatballs $2.90This is really cheap and affordable at only $2.90. For those who doesn't want to eat a lot of meatballs, get this and it will be satisfying. I love the sauce as it can get very addictive. The meatballs are nice too and are not small.Poached salmon $9The salmon is well cooked but not hard. It is tender and soft too and goes well with the sauce. For the portion, $9 is not expensive.

I had never tasted the curry puffs at Ikea Alexanda. I ordered the curry puff to sample. It costs $4 for 5, average is $0.80 per piece. It comes in a size of 9 cm, with a thickness of 1.5 cm. Inside, it has egg, mashed potatoes and little chicken meat. The curry is not spicy. It suits the local taste. On the whole, the taste is pleasing. It is ideal for snack for meal it is not likely.
