Island Creamery (Closed)

Island Creamery is a great place to chill and have desserts with your friends It specialise in cakes and ice cream with unique flavours! The one dessert i especially love is the mud pie. It has layers of chocolate, cookies and cream with caramel sauce, topped with oreo cookie crumbs. It is an epitome of an ice cream cake except it is way better! Being a chocolate lover, this definitely is worth every single penny  

My Favourite icecream place! I visit Island Creamery at least 2 times a month?!?My Favourite would be their Brownie with a scoop of Black Forest Icecream. The Black Forest icecream is slightly alcoholic, you would taste the rum, just slightly, but on some days, it will be slightly stronger. Black Forest is my Favourite among all! Visited a friend who lived opposite King's Albert Park and we went to get ice cream together.Bought the poached pear in red wine sorbet as i love alcohol. Was also attracted to it because it looks like a winner among the flavors. It is not too cloyingly sweet and its very refreshing for a hot day. And its also their new flavor. Its best to call before going as this new flavor is not a regular flavor on the menu.

The pulut hitam ice cream at Island Creamery is honestly very unique. There is no other place in the world that serves this flavour of ice cream and does it so well! I don't even like the normal dessert of pulut hitam, but find myself loving this version in ice cream. The black rice adds contrast of texture and the ice cream is smooth creamy and not too heavy on the palate. Each scoop costs 3.20.

After visiting Island Creamery for so many times, and despite its variety of other ice cream calling out to me, I never fail to order a mudpie whenever i go there! Reverse-O ice cream on top of cookies & cream ice cream, drizzled with generous servings of their chocolate fudge all over! Who can resist the mudpie from Island Creamery? Perfect for a hot day, other than the fact that it melts really fast, and one has to be fast to finish it!

Their outlet at King Albert Park seemed to be popular amongst students from the schools that lined across Bukit Timah Road as the outlet was filled with students, so it was lucky that we could find a seat that was a distance away to keep ourselves from the crowd. Having came out with many creative flavours that are close to the heart of locals such as Teh Tarik, Chendol, Milo Ping Pong and Pulau Hitam, they have definitely won some of the hearts of their loyal customers.Fresh Bananas is a banana

Was curious about Island Creamery since most of my friends are talking about it, so I decided to head down to one of the nearest outlet from my school to try it out I love their ice cream and all the flavor they offer. The best thing is you can try out their flavor before deciding which one to order. In that case, you won't be disappointed ordering the wrong one or the one that you dislike! The must try mudpie! I love island creamery! It's my favorite ice cream place!!! The flavours offered here are always so innovative and interesting! Once I also got the reverso cake which was fantastic. The lady finger biscuits on the outside really complement the soft ice cream in the centre. Super decadent and delicious There is chocolate on top too which is really yummy! great as a birthday cake. I never get bored trying out the new creative creations! Special mention goes to the ping long milo ice cream flavour!

As it was my birthday and I was having a celebration, I had to order a cake. I had some other cake in mind, but I was unable to order them, so I settled on a convenient choice, Island Creamery's Ice-Cream cake. It was also cheaper than the others, a 9-inch cake for $48. I was glad I ordered Island Creamery's Ice-Cream cake the moment I tried it. Because I ordered the cake in advance, I could choose the flavour. The area there is cosy because there isn't much people there, it is quiet too! There are sofa seats too and i like the point whereby you can paste your pictures on the wall and scribble and stick them up! It is awesome when there is a instant printer whereby you can print them after you capture. We bought a pie together with a scoop of chocolate! It is affordable and worth the money too! The ice cream was alright, wouldn’t deny that I was quite disappointed with it. The nutella icecream was too sweet and i couldn’t taste any nutella in it. However the mudpie was surprisingly good, and melts in your mouth within seconds. One of the best mudpies I’ve ever tasted so far!

The Mc Donald at King Albert Park is the most prominent, thus people always neglect the other shops there. Island Creamery is one of those places, but despite that, the place was packed on a friday night. There was no seats left. Surprisingly, there was no Reverse O over the counter on that day and so, i ordered the mudpie again.
