So my friend ordered the Laksa Goreng whcih cost $7.50. It is mouth-licking good! Imagine it's dried laksa without the gravy. But still taste great!

I ordered their Chef recommendation, Laksa Chicken Rice. Apart from the normal Hainannese Chicken Rice we see in normal food places, it is served in hot stone bowl, where it's pipping hot! The rice is those nasi lemak rice, and I love their chicken especially! It's so tender and tasty and with the laksa sauce on it, it's just heavenly! However, I think the sauce is too little, which makes the rice kinda dry.

We ordered this Lemongrass drink to share. Quite refreshing and quenched our thirst!

Ambience
It is quite quiet here as not many people dine in Laksania. Good place to have your meal if you want to avoid the crowd.

Service
The staffs are quite kind and helpful. Despite the fact that I forgot to print out the voucher, they allowed me to use the e-voucher.

Price
It is considered cheap and good! They do not have 10% service charge unlike most of the restaurants. Worth trying!

I not a big fan of laksa, but I can tell you this is one of the best laksa I have ever tried. The laksa gravy is very thick and filled with the fragrant from the coconut milk and shrimp paste used in it. The ingredients in it are very fresh, especially the generous amount of cockles in it which are very chewy and clean. Even the simple fried bean curd puffs are also soft and delicious. two thumbs up!

I'm sure everyone has had steamboat at one point in time, but have you ever had laksa steamboat? Well, Laksania made sure I did and it was a very memorable (and full) experience. It's like any typical steamboat, except that the soup base is Laksa. I chose the Seafood steamboat, and opted out of the cockles. The place was crowded at dinner time. Likely to be the reasonably-priced items.

This was a unique twist on laksa sauce.

Stir fried pasta in laksa sauce.

And the best part?

this was actually tasting like laksa!

I liked it.

And this came recommended by the lady boss.

She was chatty and chirpy. And spoke with pride of all the different laksa offerings at her store.

And what I love about it?

Dining here was supporting a social cause.

They employ marginalised individuals from IMH.

The food is good and you're paying it forward giving these individuals a chance to work and serve you.

What are you waiting for?

Love the cheesy cheese on the top of the perfectly cooked fried rice. The cheesy top has great flavour to it as there is laksa sause and cheese on the top. This is truly not our everyday baked rice which is more towards the western style. This bake rice has a really Asian flavour to it and it is like a bowl of delicious laksa just that it is in the rice form. This dish is really innovative and creative.

Ever thought that fish and chips could go with laksa sause? Well, I have tried that at Laksania and it only one word can descripe the experience-"Shiok"! Instead of dipping the fish and chips into our ordinary chilli or tomato sause, the restaurant provided their own laksa sause which was really good. Although the protion of the sause was rather small, the sause was thick and creamy with a really nice coconut aroma. The satay was good too with succulent pieces of meat on a skewer.

The laksa came in a big, big bowl and was chock-full of typical laksa ingredients, like cockles and tau pok. The gravy was pretty good too, but I think not say THE BEST out there. Still, I liked it and would probably return. Oh, the service's excellent too!

The School holidays are the perfect time for a family meal together. Hubby wanted to try Laksa, so we headed over to Laksania at NEX Mall for lunch. No sooner we arrived there, we were taken to our table and the waiter handed over the menu card to us. We quickly glanced through the menu and made our choices. Hubby selected the Singapore Laksa, while the kids selected Chicken Nuggets and Beef Burger w/fries and Coke, while I opted for a Latte. Our meal arrived very soon and we began enjoying it!

The Singapore Laksa is delicious and the noodles and gravy taste yummy and you can feel the coconut juice that is added in it curry with every spoon you eat, it has huge prawns which adds real flavor to it and the taste of this amazing laksa lingers in the mouth even after you've finished it. The Chicken Nuggets are fried to perfection in a batter and it comes in 5 nos. which is really worth it. The dip is good too and you can't resist eating another one once you've popped a nugget in your mouth. The size of the beef burger is quiet nice and the beef patty has a yummy taste and is nice and tender and chewy . It comes with fries and a dip. The latte is well presented and the taste is great and I couldn't help sipping it till it was all over.

The rates at the Restaurant are quite good:-
Singapore Laksa - $6.50
Beef Burger w/Fries - $8.50
Chicken Nuggets - $3.80
Latte (Hot) - $4.20
Coke - $2.50

The ambiance at the restaurant is great and so are the staff there. 3 Cheers to them

Social Entreprise in Singapore is not easy and only business people with the toughest minds chart out their paths and are determine to help the less fortunate in society. The food in Laksania was good and Mrupupup tried their Sarawak Laksa which was spicy, yummy and comes with chicken meat. Laksania also serves Laksa Goreng (fried noodles with laksa sauce), laksa satay, various desserts and many laksa types of food. All the food items are nice and served by very friendly staff, some of whom do face challenges in life. Check out their notice board where many famous personalties have patronised Laksania. Final note, Laksania means Laksa 'Nia' in Hokkien language means Laksa Only!

Came to Laksania today to try their food because I heard they don't just serve normal laksa, but they prepare all sorts of dishes of laksa flavour, such as burgers and fried rice.

I ordered a Laksa Chicken Rice for $10.50, which I feel is a little too expensive compared to the other dishes in the restaurant, but went ahead with the order because it's a chef recommended dish.

The Laksa Chicken Rice is packed full of goodies. In the small claypot, there is not just rice and chicken, but also long beans, carrot, cabbage and enoki mushroom. However, this dish does not deliver in the taste. It is a rather simple dish to cook, so the key lies in the sauce and chicken. The chicken is fried alright, still juicy inside, but the laksa sauce is rather bland, and flavour needs to be stronger. There is also no laksa sauce left for the rice, so it's all plain white rice in the bowl.

Overall, the Laksa Chicken Rice is ok tasting, but not worth paying $10.50 for. I'll be better off paying $6.50 for a normal bowl of laksa of theirs and it tastes so much better.

Lasania is heaven for laksa lover. It brings a wide variety of Laksa from the region. There have Singapore, Kelantan, Penang, Sarawak and Johor laksa.I had the Johor laksa which came with yellow noodle and thin bee hoon. The laksa soup is quite similar to our Singapore version. However the laksa ingredients it used egg plants, long beans and fish ball which is different from the Singapore version.
