Whether one prefers the lean ribs or innards, I just love the flavor of the piping hot Bak kut teh here, full of distinctive herbal goodness. For years, my opinion has remained the same despite having tried various Bak kut teh as well. The staff are friendly which is a rarity for coffee shops.Today we travelled specially there for the BKT and we're surprised to see the place closed and signage removed. Leong Kee (Klang) Bak Kut Teh is always bursting with customers during lunch hour. The waiting time is approximately 15 to 20 minutes. I ordered a Bak Kut Teh (all ribs) with extra tau kee (additional $1) and a bowl of rice. This Bak Kut Teh soup is very different from the white and peppery version. It is dark in color and has a strong herbal smell. It tasted a bit sweet and has a little bitterness after taste.

Came to this stall famous for its bak kuh teh but ended up having herbal chicken instead. The herbal chicken (thankfully) came with a complimentary bowl of bak kuh teh soup, so one can have the best of both worlds. If you love malaysian style bak kut teh, there's no other place except this. It's not perfectly nice as we thought, but at least it's nicer than the pepper version. Leong Kee (KLANG) Bak Kut Teh is awesome! The soup is very flavourful and the pork ribs are very tender and soft! With each bite of the meal and you tiao, you can feel the soup bursting out of the food and filling your mouth with the nice aroma of herbs. My favourite dinner!

In my opinion, this is traditional bak ku teh, due to it's clay pot and the contents of the bak ku teh. Modern bak ku teh now add more black pepper but this doesn't.. I think it doesn't add any unless you request to get the black pepper shaker and add them yourself.The taste isn't as strong, and it's more light and bland. The Bak Kut Teh's soup has a very strong and thick flavour of soup base. The meat is soft and tender and not too hard. The beancurd skin complemented well with the bak ku teh.THe bak kut teh soup provided is more than enough for one person to drink it. The soup can be quite addictive which made you want to drink more of it.

This is my first time eating at Leong Kee. Initially there's only one shop but now they have another shop just beside it to accomodate more seats. I have been eating at Leong Kee for over two years (if I remember correctly), and they have now taken over the next shop to accomodate more seats!The herbs based (hokkien style) soup is fragrant and nice, and a little sweet.
