Outback Steakhouse isn't new to most. I am sure most must have visited once if not multiple. The restaurant has recently introduced a new Tasting Menu.
First is the appetizer. Outback offers 4 mouthwatering appetizer choices which are all great for sharing as a group.

Next is the Crispy Fried Mushroom ($13.90). When one bite into the mushroom, the juice of the mushroom started bursting out. Dipping into the spicy ranch dressing will elevate the tasting pleasure, provided you are one who like sauce. Otherwise the natural tasting flavour will be good enough.

There are too many diners who loves their chicken and the Crispy Chicken Bites ($10.90) would suit them most. Likewise a sauce is prepared too. For this dish, it is with a spicy New Orleans sauce.
BBQ Pulled Pork Fries

The BBQ Pulled Pork Fries ($14.90) is a dish that received 2 thumbs up from each diner. Instead of having plain fries, this dish comes with additional ingredients such as pulled pork, cheese and spicy Ranch dressing to spicy things up.
A total of 5 entrees available for selection with choices of beef, pork and pasta and prawns.
Black Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye

On the list, being the first is the Black Peppercorn Crusted Ribeye ($37.90). The USDA ribeye is seared with peppercorn crust drizzled with balsamic topped with grilled asparagus and paired with peppercorn cream sauce.
The Porterhouse

Another steak is The Porterhouse ($45.90) consisting of filet tenderloin and strip. This is a simple steak with nothing fanciful. Best when one prefer savouring the natural juicy fragrance of the beef.
Steak and Shrimp Skewers

Having the best of both world is the Steak and Shrimp Skewers ($39.90). Diners could enjoy both the beef and prawns.
Steak Pomodoro Pasta

For diners who love their steak and pasta could opt for the Steak Pomodoro Pasta ($24.90). The cavatappi pasta is topped with a pomodoro sauce that is slow cooked with steak and tomatoes. As such it is a tomato based pasta with flavourful beef scent. Before serving the dish is topped with basil and Parmesan cheese. This dish is suitable for the kids too.

Should beef is not your preference, one could opt for the only non-beef dish on the Outback Steakhouse Singapore Tasting Menu, the Garlic Glazed Pork Loin ($25.90).
All the dishes comes with either one or two sides whereby diners could choose from the available list of sides.
Chocolate Thunder From Down Under

In the Outback Steakhouse Singapore Tasting Menu, the only dessert available is the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under ($14.90). A relatively huge scoop of vanilla ice cream sat on a chocolaty brownie. This dessert is a little too sweet for me. It make a great sharing dessert for the adult and children in the family.
Outback Steakhouse Singapore Tasting Menu consists of dishes suitable for the young and the old from the appetisers to entree to dessert. As such it is no doubt family friendly.

Outback Signature steaks are not to be missed over here. They are special and carved from USDA Choice Beef. We had the Outback Special, one of their signatures which was accentuated with the seasoned spices and seared to the perfect doneness we asked for. It comes with 6, 8, 10 oz starting at $28.90 with the difference of $2 for each weight. For each signature steak, you can choose two sides of your choice.

Another excellent choice will be their Baby Back ribs.Succulent and juicy, fork tender with flesh falling off the bone easily with little effort. The rack was simply delicious and filled with smokey flavours. The level of grilling skills was good enough to to obtained such standard with the BBQ sauce. Ribs come in the choice of half and full rack, served with thick cut fries.

Surprisingly, service was much more than I have expected. Servers were prompt and attentive to our waving. On top of that, they will also go around asking customers if the food is ok and understand how much they can improve on. With service standards differs from the cafe and other eateries, I would think twice coming back again!

Typhoon Bloom is a must to order if you love to eat onion rings. At Outback, the onions are hand cut, dusted with their very own seasonings, stacked high & cooked until golden. Oh wow, those crispy flavourful onions dipped in Outback signature bloom sauce, you can imagine how yummy & addictive they were! ;)
Next, our main course - ribeye is cooked medium rare nicely. We love how the flavourful meat juices oozed out when we chewed on it. Heavenly! The fried sweet potato & fries were still hot & crispy. The food that we ordered is just right for two person to share, we were both very full after this hearty meal. Thumbs up for Outback food! We will be back again! =)

Comfort food at hearty portions sums up my overall experience at this America's largest steakhouse chain in the world. It is quite difficult to fault the Kookabura wings ($14.90) or the Typhoon Bloom ($14.90) for being too heavy on seasonings because it is probably staying faithfully to the U.S. recipe. However, I wondered if some spice rub has been forgotten as the "spicy" wings were merely very savoury, juicy but not spicy at all. Similarly, the deep fried onion rings did not "blow" me away with the grease and sogginess. Nonetheless, the blue cheese dressing and signature bloom sauce in both dishes respectively were rich, creamy and tasty.
In fact, this was what happened to the Spinach Artichoke Dip ($13.90) which made it so difficult to resist from scooping the baked cheesy goodness with taco chips. Warm, fluffy with subtle honey-like sweetness from the molasses, the complimentary starter of wheat bush bread, was so delicious that it was wiped off the table in no seconds....

Outback Steakhouse in Singapore has been around for more than a decade, since opening in 2000. As befitting its Australia / Australian theme, ambience at Outback Steakhouse is largely designed to mimic aboriginal and outback living. Lighting is dim, with large and sturdy teak wood furniture. Aboriginal paintings and artwork adorn the walls within the spacious interior. There's even a small outdoor al-fresco dining area.

I find the service staff at Outback Steakhouse to be friendly and welcoming, offering greetings upon entry. They're also accomodating to requests, carrying them out efficiently. Orders are fulfilled rather quickly as well, and similarly, dirty / empty tables are cleared fast. Staff also came around to check on our meal, and see if everything was going fine, which I liked. I understand that staff also take customer feedback seriously, and as a result, have made tweaks to the menu / dishes. As a result, while about 70% - 80% of the menu, dishes, and service is consistent worldwide, each country's Outback Steakhouse outlets have their own unique differences.

Expect big, bold flavours when dining at Outback Steakhouse. Styled as a 'full flavour' restaurant, all dishes at Outback Steakhouse are heavily seasoned, predominantly sweet, salty, or savoury. The food at Outback Steakhouse isn't only big on taste, but of a consistently good quality as well, even after so many years. Portions are suitably large, more than enough for 1 person. Prices are on the upper range for a restaurant, which is reasonable, as their food has good quality, and many items are hand made daily. Budget about SGD $40 per person for just 1 main course, and about SGD $80 per person for a 3 course meal with drinks.

The Baby Back Ribs With Aussie Fries (SGD $19.90 Half, $32.90 Full) carry good flavour, due to the excellent sticky, tangy and sweet barbecue / BBQ sauce that coats every part of the meat. The pork itself could have been smoked slightly longer to be more tender, but the meat comes off the bone rather easily with some cutting. Served with medium cut fries with good potato taste, this dish is worth ordering.

When we first received the Ribeye Steak With Fresh Seasonal Veggies & Mashed Potatoes (SGD $37.90), it wasn't done to our liking, so staff volunteered to redo. The next serving was much better, with a medium pink center to the tender, juicy beef ribeye steak. The 10 ounce / 0.28 kilogram ribeye is seasoned with a blend of 17 spices, giving it a savoury, flavourful taste. The mashed potatoes were very good as well, seasoned with herbs to enhance the taste. Pretty good for a steak, but only decent when compared to other high end steakhouses.

An authentic American steakhouse featuring comfortable big vinyl booth seats as well as a bar counter for patrons to enjoy a hearty meal and drinks - Outback Steakhouse practices strict quality control / standardisation of its branding and food across the globe. Hence, the sauce sauce and recipes are all from the HQ in the States, and all changes / improvisions to the menus have to be approved by the HQ as well.

We tried the Bloomin' Onion aka Onion Rings (SGD$14.50) and it is a huge portion, all stacked nicely with spicy dip atop. The onion rings are crumbly outside, thinly coated so that one could really taste the crunchiness of the fresh onions within. A couple of us thought that the onion rings (without even the dip) were a tad too salty.

The Chicken Cobb Salad was served next - a large platter of lettuce, chicken, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, Cheddar and Monterey Jack slices and bacon etc. It was delicious, a little like Caesar Salad with Chicken, and is served with blue cheese sauce on the side as well. The fresh greens were definitely very welcoming in this meaty feast tonight.

We enjoyed the Ribeye Steak (SGD$37.90) which was well-marbled, juicy - it was also seasoned and seared in their 17-spices blend. We were served the Medium Rare steak and the Medium Well one, but opted for the former because it was more succulent. I did enjoy the fine texture and exotic flavor of this dish. The roasted garlic mashed potato on the side was scrumptious as well.

Time for desserts. We dug in immediately when the Cinnamon Oblivion (SGD$13.90) was served. A beautiful concoction of old-fashioned vanilla ice-cream topped with homemade whipped cream, warm cinnamon apple cubes, cinnamon croutons, pecans and caramel sauce. This was a delightful dessert that was kind to the palate - not too sweet, and the cinnamon apple cubes were just simply refreshingly lovely.

My wife loves salmon but this piece of grilled salmon was so dry. She left the veggies untouched as they were still raw and hard. 2 pieces of bones were found in the salmon.

We had to ask for cutlery too, as our orders came but no cutlery on the table. $85 for 2 pax for unpleasant meal >> not worth at all.

Ribeye:
Hubby is slightly 'underwhelmed' by the cut. Other than the size of it, he is not very impressed. The mash is not bad but the vegetable side dish is forgettable.

Seems like the pasta is a better deal than the steak here. So if you are looking for a good cut, unlikely you will find it here. I gave only 'OK' as its meant to be a "steakhouse" so the nice pasta shouldn't offset the fact that their steak is only average.

I ordered the Kookaburra Wings (Medium Hot), Cream of Chicken and Mushroom and Black Pepper Steak.
The soup is delicious and the texture is thick and creamy with fresh ingredients like celery, carrots, small chunks of chicken and cubes of mushroom. This is unlike those canned soup you find in supermarket as it's savory.
The Kookaburra Wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I find that the wings can be more flavourful if it is marinated longer to fully absorb the spices and sauce
I have very high expectation when it comes to steak. I find that the steak can be better if they add brown sauce to the black pepper to give the steak more Oomph and flavour. As for the beef texture, is firm and tender and cooked with perfect timing

The Price
Reasonably priced at $50++ for the whole bill

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

We were then ushered to a seat of our chicken (they hv both open table seating, and seating with mid level backing types) and was told she will be back to take our orders, she never did. I had to catch another waitering staff who was also aware that we were waiting to hv our orders taken but did not do anything as well. Now to the food, the soup of the day was chicken and mushroom, not the cream based type, it tasted a little salty, didn't like the oil on it and quantity served was little, soup stains were even spotted on the bowl when served. The black pepper steak was served cut up and not the entire slice but it was good, unlike the service level. Same goes to the chicken and ribs, the chicken was nice to bite and did not feel dry at all. Likewise the ribs were well grilled and flavored. My only gripe is not much sauce is provided for both dishes. Also the fries could have done a lot better, sad to say it did not compliment the meat well. As you can tell, very mixed reactions from me with the food quality impressing but not the entire dining experience though. This joint has got to improve especially carrying the Australia outback theme, hope it can buck up on the finer things of dining and i'll be back soon.

I came here with the Groupon deal, The ambiance of the place is fine, but then is a very disappointed day for me & my group of friends, celebrate birthday end up their service was damn piss off...

After we sat down, We wanted to order end up have to waited around 20mins to served where there's not much customer till 1 of my friend went to their kitchen to call them, I'm not sure what those staff doing at their kitchen, Getting waiters' attention was an impossible task.

Waiters doesn't give a smile when ordering, serving dish is like so messy just anyhow put those plate without saying "excuse me" & hurt 1 of my friend's hand, what's more not a single apology from them too...

Overall, i only sincerely enjoyed the finger foods. It is unlikely we will be back...

As we had just finished shopping at Millenia Walk by 7.30pm, we decided to go and have dinner. The kids wanted to have burgers and chips, so we headed over to Outback SteakHouse. Luckily, there was no rush and we were taken in very soon and seated. Once we were comfortably seated the waiter handed us the menu and we began to browse through it. The kids made up their minds very soon and one selected Kid's Chicken Fingers and the other went for the Kids Burger. I chose the Pork Chops since I love

I chose the Pork Chops since I love pork alot and hubby selected the Bacon Cheese Burger. We ordered a Heineken as well and relaxed as till our food was served to us. The waiter bought a a brown bread with some yummy butter and we all began to munch on it.

: I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw two huge chunks of Pork chops which was cooked to perfection and the texture was simply great. The liquid would just drip out every time I took a bite of it. I truly enjoyed this dish and look forward to having it again

Hidden amidst all the pubs and bars of Millenia Walk is Outback Steakhouse. Do not belittle this steakhouse just because they have only one outlet in Singapore. Despite having Australian name, Outback originated in Florida during the 1980s and since their inception, they have spanned 1000 steakhouses in 20 over countries. Now that’s something to boost right?

As for me, I am no stranger to them since I have cravings for steaks most of the time. I daresay they have one of the best steaks in town. If not I wouldn’t come back time after time again and still recommend to my friends once in a while right?

Would you just feast your eyes on the juicy slab of Ribeye ($39.90). One can opt for more flavours. Maybe drizzle some peppercorn sauce or pair up with grilled onions. But to me, the best way of having steaks is just having it grilled over an open fire and then savouring it plain and simple, medium rare. Honestly speaking, the ribeye was so good that the sides seemed secondary…

What else could be better than to have something to spread butter and munch upon? Another thing worth sharing is the complementary bread served upon each table. I did a little bit of research and as I am aware, it’s call honey wheat bushbread. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I just wished I had another so I wouldn’t always need to share! Such is the mentality of a glutton indeed…

And who says you can only order steaks at a steakhouse? I always have a good impression of their pastas. Composed of fettuccine tossed with homemade marinara and meat sauces then finish off with fresh basil ribbons and parmesan. And voila! Steakhouse Pasta ($23.90) is one I will recommend!

I love the huge portion of their food which is great for sharing if not more than enough to make a meal for one. Service was also commendable. I have heard about their Lunch Specials but never had the chance to try but I believe there’s always another chance…
