Polar Puffs & Cakes (Closed)

It was really a delightful day that my uncle bought a whole oreo cake to my house for a tea session with us. The presentation of the cake looks really simple but nice. The vanilla cake sponge was soft and light in texture. However not much 'Oreo' taste can be found in the cake, which was abit disappointing to me. The few pieces of oreo cookies topped on it was also not that crunchy too.

The ingredients in the curry puff was a lot!;D I could taste the curry in every bite I took.The puff skin is not too thick and fully filled with the fillings.But the curry filling was slightly too spicy and a little bitter.And the outer is no longer crispy after leaving it for hours until breakfast. I went in to the website for Polar puff to look for their range of cakes and found that they do have a wide range of cakes to cater for different groups of people. They have disney, hello kitty, thomas & friends etc range for small kids, customized for the wedding / special occasions and also petite cakes (for small eaters).I am very attracted to their cakes. I decided to choose from the Chocolate truffle from their Chocoholic indulgence range. it comes in two different sizes. Regular costs $20.

Polar puffs & cake apart from selling cakes , the store also sell puff , pastries etc e.g curry puff ,tuna puff ,teriyaki pie .The store have also different style of cake range from character cakes , customize , kids , full month etc .we ordered royal chocolate fudge for my sister's birthday , it was sinful treat cos of chocolate fudge . But the cake was soft , not too sweet , with layers of soft chocolate sponge.

This is an oatmeal cake. The side of the cake has oats and on top of the cake is fruits ---- Strawberry, cherry,orange. It is quite a normal cake. But, the oats at the side make it very special. The oats make the cake look like a healthier choice. The crunchy oats also makes the cake more delicious. It is a good combination. However, the cake is too creamy. There are a lot of whipped cream around the cake. After eating a few mouth, I felt like vomiting :/

The children like the taste of this black pepper chicken pie, but it is just alright to me. I cannot deny that the outlook is nice. The skin is quite crispy and the stuffing is right with pepper chicken, but the filling does not show enough spicy at all. Since the children fancy on it, I will still consider buying it when I am around the area of the stores until I can find the substitute.

For my little brother’s 4th birthday, I decided to buy a Thomas the Train cake from polar as he is a huge fan of Thomas. There weren’t any Thomas cakes available, so I had to preorder. The sales girl was kind enough to allow me to order and get the cake by tomorrow, but I could only order a ½ kg cake. I proceeded, since I had nowhere else to order. Chose the chocolate sponge cake and I can assure that it tasted very nice! Didn’t disappoint the kids or us at all. The chocolate sponge cake tasted

This Loaf of bread mainly made with chocolate chips & milk. I like the bread very much as the fragrance of the chocolate taste and the chips are permeate & perfectly matched with the bread. I prefer the bread to be crispier and always oven grill for a few minutes before I eat it. Even though you do not grill it, it's still taste nice and soft. I often buy it & feel that the price is quite reasonable.

Last year, my hubby & I threw a BBQ party for our friends at Pasir ris, so one of our close friends came with with a little box for us. When we opened it, it was a small, colourful little M & M's chocolate cake. We were so excited that we all said cheers & cut the cake together. Then was the cake feeding session. Gosh the cake was so chocolaty,soggy & tasty and filled with my favourite M&M's :-). It was just heavenly. We just couldn't get enough of it and trust me, the cake was over in 5 mins.

The melted cheese with the ham is completely delicious, of cause best consumed when it is fresh from the maker. Normally waffles we bought from other places are generally of the crispier type, but here at polar cakes and puffs, the waffles are different…they are soft and nice, especially the ham and cheese flavor! (: Although $2 per ham and cheese waffle is considered to be more expensive as compared to waffles sold elsewhere, but I personally think it is worth it for a nice ham and cheese waffl

Just when i decided to buy some late afternoon snacks, I saw the otah puffs of polar puffs and cakes having a promotion at 2 for $3.60.When the puff was handed to me, I could feel the puffs are still warm I like the taste of the juicy otah and the crispy puff.The puff was stuffed with generous amount of otah and I could taste the otah in every bite!Glad I bought it to try and it was worth it.Will definitely buy it again

I was alone at Pasir Ris White Sand buying some stationaries at Popular Book Store. When i was queuing out to make payment, my wife called me that she is hungry and will like to buy some bites back for her to eat. After payment, i went straight down to basement, I saw our favourite polar store and ordered a box of swiss roll and each cost about $1.20. When i reached home, my wife is so happy to see her favourite swiss roll, i think she must be damned hungry. haha.

I'll always go to Polar Puffs for thier yummy yet affordable pastries and puffs. They also sell these adorable character print cakes that appeal to both children and adults. Examples of such cartoon characters include Doraemon, Tom & Jerry and Sesame Street. I bought thid adorable Doraemon printed chocolate flavoured cake once when I had this craving for something chocolatey. It was very cute and tasted nice. And the price was rather pocket friendly too. I bought a Nutella Cake for my friends birthday and it was really nice! Not as sweet as Chocolate Cakes but nice and refreshing with the rich hazelnut taste. Great! Can try it out!
